    Wife was at Wallyworld and while walking around spotted Cobra # 720 . She bought it for me knowing I did not have this one . I don't know how she knew . I myself buy ones I already have ! Keep looking Debi !!!

    Hey Bill ! The service diorama you mentioned sounds interesting. Lots of detail could be loaded up into something like that. I hope you go for it when you move to Arizona !

    It was kind of clever that GM used the NOVA name to make up the names of the other Nova based cars. Nova, Omega. Ventura and Apollo.

    I agree totally with you Bill. We gave up our land line awhile back but I feel the same way about the door knockers. The other day the doorbell rings ( I do have a little sign by the doorbell not to call ) anyway, I go to the door and it's someone that wants to clean one room of carpets for free. I point out the sign and I am told " we're not selling anything we want to clean a room for free ! No way I'm letting you in my house guys and how many people that want their carpets cleaned are just waiting for someone to come to the door ?

    The missing part was the entire bottom plate with seat detail molded in. Would not have been too terribly hard to scratch up I guess but I just turned it into a slot car. Kit was designed to be used as a slot car or a model.

    Thanks guys. Pretty much what I'm looking for in style but I want a kit that has what I consider a reasonable price. I guess it's like looking for a unicorn .

    Other than the older style cable car kits are there any kits of the ones more like in the 50's ? You know the more streamlined style. Plastic or resin would be fine.

    Got this from eBay today . Not building much anymore but my best friend bought one of these cars at an estate sale. He got it for 1,700 and is in better condition than you might thing . Anyway I found one for 25 bucks so I snapped it up . I will do it up as a replica of his car .

    I never saw a Palmer kit that looked much like the car it was meant to represent. I have two Cobras made by them and they are weird to say the least. How about making it into a Zinger with big motor and tires ? Just an idea.
