Hey Bob, I know this isn't a gun forum but was wondering how you like your Taurus. I have 3 in my collection and had to send 2 back to the factory. All were purchased new. Any issues with yours ?

Thanks Dave. It's the Monogram "Dream Rides" version. I decided to change things up and do a Cobra. I do have a few around here somewhere.

Thanks everyone. I see I should have tucked to front wheels in more. It would not steer if it was a real car. It would go pretty good in a straight line I suppose.

Thank you guys. I know the purple may be an odd color for a Cobra but since I have a few I try to do ones different from what I already have.

Well guys so it seems I may still be throwing a model together once in awhile after all . What better to start with then a Cobra ? Well for me at least . It is well underway with just a few mods . Bumper holes filled . Drilled for parts box roll bar . Drilled out tail lights to make some recessed ones. Made a front and rear spoiler. Wheels and tires bought on the bay . Oh and yes it is purple !

Maybe you could tint a clear coat ??? I don't know if that would work or not.

I like the 72's. I remember when they came out one of the auto magazines said it looked like a land locked tuna sucking wind. I myself liked it.

Hey Jim. I may keep building but not as much as I used to. Being retired I have to have some things to do and building is as good as anything else I can do at home for a fairly low cost.

I did get sucked back in to some degree. I am working on a Cobra for my collection and built an MGB as a replica of my best friends car. My wife also brought me a motorcycle kit last weekend. She wants to keep me off the streets !

My mother ( God rest her soul ) always said in her later years " I am glad I am my way out ". She had a big problem with all the stuff that was happening.

Dave, you have the kit I really wanted but could not find at a good price. I was contacted by a person a lot of you have commented on who had the one I wanted. He had seen my wanted request and sent me a message and offered me the kit. We could not agree on a price so I had to pass on it. This was from PJ Toys. His offer was less than the one I saw on ebay which was the one like the one I bought and not the one he had. I think his offer was fair it was just more than I was willing to pay.
