  1. Perhaps there is a reason this person could not reply and in time he will. There is no excuse not to give a simple thank you.
  2. Be happy because you did a good thing. Remember the old saying...... No good deed goes unpunished . I would still help where you can. Don't let one person change who you are !
  3. Thank you guys.
  4. Maybe so but it looked cool ! : )
  5. I don't really have a pattern but normally I would say engine then body. Sometimes prep and prime body first. I will admit I have gotten myself into trouble a few times by not following the instructions as outlined.
  6. Easy Wayne, I need something to do since I am retired and model building is easier and cheaper than packing up my stuff to go shooting. I didn't think I was all that fast. Maybe I need to buy more difficult models.
  7. I always like to throw in something different than a car or truck once in awhile. That being said after a few cars in a row I decided to build this. Moebius Space Pod from the Lost in Space campy TV show. It looks pretty detailed but the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Good kit to practice detail painting on. Will probably create a diorama setting for it when finished. Has anyone built this kit ?
  8. Ya know, if you ever build another model you should think about putting some detail in it. Fantastic work !
  9. I'm retired so I have lots of time to build when the urge strikes. Plus this kit goes together pretty quick and easy.
  10. Thank you very much for the kind words fellows.
  11. Good looking van, great color.
  12. Ya know I thought about that but the box art plus some internet searches showed a great many with the silver wheels.
  13. I can picture the "Beav" and Eddie and Lumpy going to the malt shop. Cool model.
  14. Love the look of this car and have been wanting to build one for awhile. Some of the members here suggested to get the Fujimi kit. It turned out it was a good suggestion and I really liked the kit. No major problems but I did not use all the PE parts. Nothing wrong with them just to small for my fat fingers and less than perfect eye sight. : ) Built all stock and painted with Testors Italian red. ( maybe not correct ) Decals laid down pretty good on the doors with the use of a setting solution. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Not close to perfect but then mine never are. Comments pro or con are always welcome.
  15. This one is finished and photos will be posted in the Under Glass section soon.
  16. Does most of the interior get painted as opposed to stained ?
  17. Correct or not I think white would look best. IMO
  18. That turned out very nice !
  19. Thanks. This one is just about done only needing the decals which I believe may be a problem due to the curve of the doors.
  20. Keeps getting better !
  21. Oh, in July I will be in Estes Park in Colorado.
