  1. That is one heck of a chop !
  2. Oh no Rich. I likes my ketchup but not on that stuff ! My sister, when she was much younger put ketchup on .................... ready for this ? ...................... mashed potato's ! Talk about a disgusting mess. I couldn't even look at it.
  3. I want one too but I have house payments.
  4. This is without a doubt a "super" build ! You got skills, nobody could deny that.
  5. Interesting idea.
  6. Or worse yet a hot dog with no ketchup ! : )
  7. Going to the Chicago area this August to help my sister pack up and move out here to Arizona. I plan on getting me some good grub. Food is better there than here plain and simple. There goes my diet for that week !!!
  8. Thanks so much guys. Yes, Reving Red does have flake in it. It is a Testors paint. The black is the same brand. The Walking Dead comment was a take off on what our friend and great builder John T. said about having a part on a tv show as a April Fools day joke. Also that old saying is something I stole from the same man. It is something he often says. Maybe I had best start copying from some others so John doesn't get mad at me . : ) Sorry John.
  9. I can't believe that they are still around and taking peoples hard earned money.
  10. Nicely done.
  11. Thanks for the info and link.
  12. Factory color as far as we knew but no codes for the paint so a simple dark blue will have to be good enough.
  13. Love it !
  14. Nice Mopar.
  15. I just gained 5 pounds just by looking at that thing. : )
  16. Beautiful cars. Wish they were mine. : )
  17. This will be my next project. You may have seen the 66 resin Biscayne I built for a friend not long ago. Well, he liked it so much I decided to try and build a replica of his very first car. It was a dark blue with light blue interior 64 Impala SS. It was in good condition and he paid 250.00 for it. That was over 40 years ago, I think it was in 71 or 72. Anyway, he does not have any photos of it and can not recall everything about it. Buckets and auto on the floor and colors we know but neither of us can remember what the wheels were. he thinks Cragers but is not sure. I don't remember and don't have a clue. I will try and recreate it the best I can and since he can't remember everything he can't say it's wrong. : )
  18. Finished this one up a bit ago. Short recap................AMT 3 in 1 customizing boat kit. A Revell Olds funny car supplied the engine and roof section. Jet drive was made from a Jeep transmission and I know is not very realistic. But as one of the better builders here likes to say, good enough for the girls I go with. Paint is pearl black on the hull and the topside is Reving Red. Decals from the parts box. Cut out the hull so headers could protrude. Didn't come out as good as I would have liked but they never do. Still deciding if I should add a windshield or not. Comments always welcome pro or con. On to the next one !
