  1. Very cool little cars.
  2. Thanks gents !
  3. I reserve the right to change my mind. I must admit that looks a darn site better than that line drawing on the box.
  4. This version just doesn't do it for me.
  5. Thanks Ira. I know this "thing" is strange but that is what I was going for.
  6. I like it !
  7. Looks good to me. If you are getting dust or anything in your paint you can try putting something like Tupperware over it or try hanging it upside down as it dries.
  8. That's going to be a Nomad and a half !
  9. Thanks a bunch for the kind words guys.
  10. Very nice work.
  11. That is super nice !
  12. Murphy's law Tom. Happens to me all the time. Sometimes I think if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck. Sorry for your loss and I hope you can reschedule your getaway. We all need that time on occasion.
  13. Thanks guys !
  14. A lot of us including myself I must admit forget what this day is really about. It's the day we BBQ and or have a party without much thought about why we have this day. It is much more than just a day off for most of us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who served and to the families of those who gave their lives. We owe you more than we could ever repay.
  15. That was the idea Harry. What you rather see ? Another boring Willy's or Charger ? Wait ! Don't answer that, I already know. I think your slipping however as there was no mention of the lack of mirrors ! : ) Now fellows that was a joke. I like Willy's and Chargers as much as anyone. No hate mail please !
  16. Cool little dio.
  17. No it doesn't, does it ?
  18. Ok guys. Can you be here by 6 ? Today ?
  19. This "thing" was just cobbled together with no real plan and it shows. It was meant just to be a between projects project. The body is a JF resin item that is supposed to be a shortened, narrow Lincoln body of a 63 (?) vintage. It was combined with a Beatnik Bandit kit. The Bandit kit supplied the frame which was modified and also the engine and the bubble top. The grill is a cut down 49 Merc item the dash from the parts box as were other bits. Painted bright yellow and parts box decals.
  20. This came to me on Saturday. A big box of Omaha Steaks. Included Top Sirloin, Filet Mignon's, gourmet hamburgers and hot dogs, Boneless Chicken Breasts and Stuffed Baked Potato's. The buddy I build that resin 66 Biscayne for sent this to me as a thank you for the car. All in all not a bad deal. : )
  21. Hey Al, the car looks great and I am sure your buddy will love it.
