Now that the 66 Biscayne is done I needed another project. Next up will be this little resin bodied Lincoln. Going to use chassis and engine and such from the Beatnik Bandit car. Not sure about using the bubble top. We will have to see how it fits and maybe I will.

I'm liking that already.

Now to pack it and ship it and hope it gets there in one piece ! : )

Finished this replica of my buddys 1:1 car today. Won't go into all details as the build is in the workbench section. The short story is that this utilized a MCW resin 66 Biscayne body and interior. A Revell 66 SS 396 was used for the engine and chassis. Tried to make it as close to his car as possible. Did have a couple of problems but I always do when using resin. The bigest problem I really never solved was that the body and interior did not go low enough on the chassis and you can see a little too much frame. It is not perfect and could have been done better by a better builder but I did the best I could and hopefully my friend will like it. I noticed I forgot to BMF the door handles and install the mirror. That will be done before I sent it to him.

Heading into final assembly. Have the body cleared. Foil is done. The windows and interior are in. The grill and rear bumper and tail lights are in .
