An old friend who I had not had contact with in well over 20 years found me thanks to this forum. In talking he told me about the 66 Biscayne he had. So I asked for some photos thinking perhaps I could build a replica that he could take with when he went to the local car shows. Thanks to someone here I was told that MCW had a 66 Biscayne kit. I ordered one and started collecting the bits I would need to attempt to build something at least close. So using the MCW body and chassis and engine from the Revell 66 SS I was on my way. I ordered the AMT white lettered Goodyears to use for the tires. I got an Arrowhead pre-wired distributor. Wheels from the parts box. Air cleaner from the parts box. Ordered the correct color automotive paint. Not sure if I will go with the resin interior or use the Revell kit one or some combination of the two. As I said I just want to get it close and I am not looking to make a perfect replica. Body has been soaked and ir ready for some clean up and primer.
