  7. well it's 5:30 am here in lovely lake hopatcong nj where i have been held prisoner my whole life.lol i can't sleep so i thought i would show this bus. i made this bus to look like a bus from my town that ended up way in the back of the junkyard. it is made from three busses. the nose motor and chassis was a signature series 1941 gmc fire truck. the body is a hubly that i cut up and the floor is a buddy l. i molded the body parts together using bondo and painted and aged. all of the windows are real glass/ i made the side trim from aluminum corogated cut into strips and held in with pins to look like rivets/ i made all of the aged tires and the drum i made out of bondo/ the top lights are handmade using lenses from kits/ i made a stop sign and a hand grip and put in diamond plate steps.i made all of the seats from heavy wire and each one is padded and upolstered. why i did this i do not know because after i loaded the bus with junk you can't see them anymore.but i guess just knowing they are in there makes it kinda cool.i will let the bus tell it's own demise.lol

  12. that looks great right now. i can imagine when its done. great work. i would like to see some shots of the p/up junker diorama you have in the backround. looks cool as heck.
  13. i hear ya.lol
  14. this is a diorama i built quite a few years ago and dold on ebay. it is mostly made of scrap wood i had left over. i used some dollhouse and railroad items as well as home made items. i made the gas pump out of wood and aluminum and the BBQ from a soda can. all of the tools are hand made. the caddy is a maisto 12th scale model.the man was a women figure that i gave a sex change and made my mechanic.hope some like it. the 24th scale is a danbury mint to show comparison in size
  15. what can i say Ed great as usual. it would be cool to do another one as the real estate office and put them side by side.not so hard to find modern real estate stuff as it is vintage gas station stuff.
  16. man all of these builds are amazing and i love the real photos also.i can't comment on only one as thay are all great. got me thinking about doing one. thats if i ever get done with whats on my plate now.lol
  17. amazing build and detail. i can see all of the work and time you put into it. just great i love it
  18. yes richard it is all 24th and 25th scale stuff.a lot of dollhouse and some things i made myself like the cabinets the staircase and railings and the kitchen table.
  19. i built this old farm house a few years ago just to sit in my junkyard diorama. it was a hollow shell. it is all made out of wood but as time went by i kept adding things to it and furnishing it.it became an obsession and i could not stop. in fackt i am still adding to it everytime i see something that will fit. hope its not to many pictures.lol
  20. it is realy cool and different and i would agree with cranky on the cost being low no more the $40.00 that was untill you dismantled the rolex to use the guts for the junk barrel. cost after that $14.500. great job
  21. man that is a lot of work and detail i will be following the build every chance i get. i love it.i could just see this at night with a fog machine and jack the ripper following a lady in the night with their taller than life shadows on the walls. OK i am awake now.
