  1.     I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the huge tire tracks!
  2. There is something about this photo that tells me that if this is a real car, I need to be very very scared.
  3. It says model to me on a number of levels, so I'm going to ignore my brain screaming "it's real, it's real" and vote model.
  4. That was a really enjoyable several-hour long search. Found all sorts of wonderful things. Just not this!
  5. I had the right continent and the right era... In other words, I'd worked out the obvious...
  6. I have my theories, but so far, no answer....
  7. I would never have guessed. It does have wheels that are rather ahead of its time!
  8. BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, these modern cars are all alike!
  9. I should have looked at the tires... The quality of 1/8 scale has clearly improves since the last 1/8 I came across!
  10. My search "generic blue sedan" failed to find it.
  11. Way ahead of Ford with it's styling. Wheels said 20's to me, but I still didn't find it.
  12. Amusingly I eventually found it while looking for hatchbacks, which it isn't. I found a site that was discussing cars that looked like, but were not hatchbacks, and that put me onto the Princess.
  13. Not all of us have books full of cars. Oh, by the way, I am not "internet generation." I have walls covered in books, just not on old cars. I searched online with the details you gave as the answer and failed to find it BEFORE I made the comment. My earlier comment stands. You seem to be having fun by posting cars that no one can find. Fine. I won't waste my time looking, and you can pretend I wasted hours and didn't find it. That way we'll both be happy.
  14. Probably because it looked like a reflection off the headlight behind. I didn't even see it.
  15. So you quizzed us with a car that can't be found on the internet? Next week I won't waste my time.
  16. It seems I need to give up. I might find it that way. Its inspiration is obvious. What it is, I don't know. I do, however, have a very, very long list of what it isn't.
  17. Dang, another car so obscure that several hours of searching found nothing.
  18. Would you believe, one of these parked next to me at Mc Donalds today..... (Skoda badged)
  19. Spent several hours looking. Found a load of cool looking cars. Didn't find this one though.
  20. I searched until I found a car with a similar looking grill, then looked that up. My response - A Skoda, you have to be kidding me, and kept right on with my old search. Only when that was finished did I look up Skoda, and there the thing was. I'm pretty sure I've seen one on the road too.
  21. That was a tough nut to crack!
  22. Odd- it wants me to vote again. Whatever. I got it right! The interference pattern on the grill is what made me choose real.
  23. Well, I had my fun with you guys when I suggested the Bolwell Nagari. Not only had I seen one on the streets (very rare) but I also knew one of the Bolwell brothers when I was a child.
  24. I got the right date. I got the right manufacturer. I even got the right country. But evidently I failed to try all three in the same search because I certainly didn't get the car! http://felipestanque.blogspot.com.au/2011/09/paper-model-de-ford-corcel-ii.html
