  1. So what you are saying is the photo is the REAL car, not the model. That's the conclusion I get from looking at your links. Yup, nowhere on the model page does it actually say that the photos are of the models.
  2. Argh! I was one click away from actually finding it - literally! Was searching French Convertible's yesterday, and it was one page lower than I looked. Add to that, on Wednesday, their latest convertible was traveling alongside me.
  3. This one annoys me. My brain tells me I know it, but I can't remember from where. I can recognize the models of several cars up the back row though!
  4. Perhaps a revived topic would help?
  5. Busy month.... Not a lot of progress.
  6. Russian pickup didn't return any hits. Should have typed soviet pickup instead!
  7. Failed. And I even owned a skoda....
  8. Almost looks like a computer-game render. I'm going with Real.
  9. I didn't have a hope. Hours of searching found me all sorts of things, including, as it happens, another car by the same body designer, Saoutchik. Not that one could recognize it as sharing any design elements. http://www.supercars.net/Pics?v=y&s=c&id=3605&p=1949_Delahaye_175SSaoutchikRoadster2.jpg
  10. And a little proof that I have actually opened the kit box!
  11. I used to feel that way when I got to consecutive posts a day apart. All things considered, this CB lasted very well. It was meant to end in August or September from memory. That it has any life at all now is amazing.
  12. I have searched, and I have searched, and I have searched. All I can say is it's a 19?? ???? by ????.
  13. At least I recognized its heritage (Morris) even if I had no clue as to what the little monstrosity actually was!
  14. Better motor? Of course! This is a Cannonball run after all! No point in entering a stocker!
  15. Oh, I'm well read on the model, even if I haven't built one before. I know the model has its ride height based off an unloaded real-world example, giving it that sloped stance. All the same, as I won't be adding a trailer to it, one could argue that the ride stance is spot on.
  16. Still needs details at the rear. It looks too much like a little truck at the moment. True to form, it has no suspension on the rear at all. Every part has been salvaged from behind the barn (the junk box).
  17. Starting point. Still shrink wrapped. I've never seen the actual kit, just photos and its box.
  18. You've got me. Found all sorts of interesting cars - just not this one.
  19. I think I'll try with a Dodge L-700 Tilt Cab. Something a little different!
  20. It's a nice change. Us out in the rest of the world get the "Sorry it's restricted to USA" all too often. And to make it worse, they usually tell us that AFTER we have had to watch 30 seconds of commercial.
  21. some draftsmen should be shot - or forced to drive their designs.
  22. Russian Fiat vaz-2102 with it's roof chopped off.
  23. I only had a flat head V8 too. So that is what I used.
  24. I don't think latex paint was invented by then. It would be good old enamel.
