  1. Looks like a real car made out of plastic!
  2. The problem with this one is it strongly reminds me of a car I can't recall the name of....
  3. Hey, I got it right the first time!!!
  4. I forgot one of the magic search keywords. When all else fails, search for "russian"! It was on the first page.....
  5. Nope. It's what it took the name from for his magazine. Really.
  6. It being an export model was what threw me! I live in Australia, and I don't recall ever seeing one of these. There can't of been many brought out here.
  7. These show the sort of wheelbase you need for heavy armor. Most of the armored zombie hunters here would collapse under their own weight!
  8. Argh!! failed again! What we need is a week of "revenge on Harry" where we post cars for Harry to identify!
  9. deceptive focusing on this one. If it's a model, it's been made in 1:1 scale.
  10. I'll find out what it is on Saturday. It eludes me.
  11. I saw a video where some modern demo drivers had people complain about them using "rare" cars. They pointed out that they were purchased from the wreckers, and if they were so "valuable", others were welcome to put their money where their mouths were and rescue them first.
  12. Old promo photos and one under restoration. Worth a look: http://www.flickr.com/photos/50563107@N04/sets/72157632561940394/with/8500133731/
  13. I'll tell you how close I was to getting this right: Not at all. Nowhere near. Wouldn't have guessed Volvo in a million years.
  14. well... I've found about half a dozen cars that I missed in previous Auto-IDs with today's search. I guess I'll find this one with next weeks search - when it is too late!
  15. Definitely future, but not exactly utopian. This is something I made around 1989-1990. I figured the shape fits the theme, and a little participation never hurts a thread. Upper surface is solar panels. Electric powered, drive by wire, with monitors in the cabin. I forget how many models were chopped up to build this. Revel 82-3 Firebird, Fujimi Lamborgini, fire truck ladders, some sort of stock car, etc., etc.
  16. aircraft ejection seat labels? Well, that's cheating!
  17. So what you are saying is the photo is the REAL car, not the model. That's the conclusion I get from looking at your links. Yup, nowhere on the model page does it actually say that the photos are of the models.
  18. Argh! I was one click away from actually finding it - literally! Was searching French Convertible's yesterday, and it was one page lower than I looked. Add to that, on Wednesday, their latest convertible was traveling alongside me.
  19. This one annoys me. My brain tells me I know it, but I can't remember from where. I can recognize the models of several cars up the back row though!
