  1. Revell is getting better every release. I'm a truck guy, but just had to get this. The panels seem to fit together well. There appears to be a few sink marks in the body, but even the tamiya Carrera gt had that as well. The wheels look like a step forward as well. Can't wait til mine arrives. I want to complete my tamiya gullwing before I start the 918. Ben
  2. I filled in the front air vents, and used the bumpers, tail lights and front seats seats from cabrielet. A lot of sanding and body work to get the lights right. I also got rid of the chrome trim. Pics are from my iPad. Ben
  3. I'm gathering it worked. I can see the pics. I'm technologically challenged. Ben
  4. RMVW Guy, yours looks pretty similar to the revell 1970 convertible VW. I used the convertible and 1968 combined to make mine. Ben

  19. The 6 cylinder out of the amt cruiseliner would be a good option for an early version. Ben.
  20. Looks pretty good to me. Pity I have too many other projects on the go. Cheers. Ben
  21. It unfortunate that the italeri superliner is so inaccurate. The aftermarket , especially Auslowe, has made parts available to make the truck more accurate with options such as Mack air cleaners, crossmembers, suspension, engine and gear box options. Us Australians are lucky we have aircleaners on our superliners as it covers up the inaccuracy of the italeri kit pretty well. Hopefully italeri will do an accurate new American truck soon. At least the aftermarket caters pretty well though. Ben
