  1. Thank you, Scott! I'm glad you like it...... And don't worry about Harrys comment bothering me, a little derision never hurt anyone!
  2. Thanks, Bill! So where would the spare be mounted on a '50 model? Under the bed, or inside of the bed? I'm planning a custom anyway, but would like it to be half correct.........
  3. Hey, Friends........ Does anyone know of a caster of spare tire fenders for the AMT '50 Chevy pick-up? And maybe a way to mount the spares to the body? Thanks for any help...................
  4. I believe they are decals, Friend......... This pic shows their placement on the body. There is a crease down the side of the body that they are centered on...........
  5. Harry, you've probably heard this....... Billy Joel was giving an interview once and someone asked him 'what's it like being married to Cindy Crawford?' Billy Joel says " I'm not, I'm married to Cristie Brinkley." The guy says "yea, you wish!"
  6. A Klondike bar would do anything for Chuck Norris. Death once had a near Chuck Norris experience. Chuck Norris doesn't sleep, he waits. When the Boogey Man goes to bed, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris. Waldo is hiding from Chuck Norris. NASA cannot find life on Mars because Chuck Norris has already been there. When he sticks his hand in water, he doesn't get wet..... The water gets Chuck Norris. Yea, the Chuck Norris "facts" are corny, I like them though.................
  7. Thank you Carl and Darren! All the pieces were chrome except for the rim inserts. the tires, seat and grips were painted white, and I painted the frame gray........ I guess I should have picked more contrasting colors for something so small.......... Here's another pic that hopefully shows the scheme better.
  8. Heads aren't usually thieves......... and it's Crunchies for the Munchies! Everyone knows that!
  9. I use pretty much only DupliColor products on bodies, it would be nice if car makers would pick up some new colors (I like the new ones on the pickup samples posted earlier) then it would trickle down to the touch-up paints and we would have more colors to choose from..........
  10. Thank you, Gents........ The paint is just a base white with pearl white over it, then I masked for the silver/gray color, sprayed it then cleared.........
  11. Put this together over the last couple days...... Fun but tedious!
  12. Her and her little bro call me 'sir' even though I've told them they don't have to, just be respectful of everyone else.......
  13. Never had crawdads, but chicken livers is ideal for catching catfish........ We have a river that runs along our town that used to be safe to eat from, I wouldn't eat from there now if I had to....................
  14. I had a good trade with gardnerpag44.......... He sent the item the next day after our deal was made, and it arrived in excellent condition......... Good Guy!
  15. Thanks a bunch, Guys...........!
  16. Thanks, Guys.........! This one took about a month an a half to build, that's a long time for me..........
  17. Thanks Snake! I'm glad you see I'm proud of her and didn't get all smarmy............... (oh, wait.....)
  18. Thank you, Harry....... The kit comes with several vintage license plates, should be an easy fix....!
  19. Thanks, Guys.....! Richard, I was unsure if the grill was supposed to be open on the fenders but a wash would make it look better. I also notice that the door panel line on the fenders has disappeared! Maybe I can fix that too...........
  20. Thanks, Harry......... I thought the black base was the trick, even found that spaz stix makes a base for use with it's product. Some of my family is going to the next town and hopefully stopping by a hobby shop for me this weekend, maybe they'll have what I need......
  21. Yea, Friend....... Those are some BBS wheels I got in a trade on here. Thanks! Have you tried to put the decal on the hood yet? Be careful, the wetness sheets out from under the decal as soon as it is placed, making it hard to move into position. Maybe some setting solution would help...............
  22. Finally done with this one! The kit itself was a joy, until it came time to fit the separate front end. Probably not perfect, but I think it turned out okay............ Thanks for looking and feel free to comment, good or bad......!
  23. Thanks for the kind words, gents.....! She's my buddy, man, and she does good.......
  24. If you drop something in the sewer, you tie the lock to the twine, cover the bottom with the jelly, and hope that what you dropped will stick to it.......... I think?
  25. Wow, LowLife ! ! You put a lot of work into that lowrider!..... Can I ask how you chromed the suspension pieces? I'm planning a lowrider build and would like to chrome the frame....
