Thanks for looking in, guys! Unfortunately, Photobucket isn't cooperating with my computer, so I'm not able to show any progress right now..... Darn 12 year old Dell desktop..!
I was gonna show you how the paint turned out, but photobucket isn't working right now..... I went with a brown because I couldn't find a black like I wanted. It looks OK, maybe I can get pics up later!
I'm gonna try this band again, I posted some lyrics of their's earlier and noone guessed it.....
Hint: This is the title track for the album it's on.....
"With my feet upon the ground, I lose myself between the sounds
and open wide to suck it in, I feel it move across my skin,
I'm reaching up and reaching out, I'm reaching for the random,
or whatever will bewilder me, whatever will bewilder me...."
Yep, that's exactly what I did.....! Kind of a hack job, and I can't use the metal axle in the front, but the kit comes with plastic axles that I cut to long enough to hold the front tires in place.......
Here's the engine all finished... looks like the cross-over pipe slipped a little, I should probably fix that...
Feel free to tell me what you think......!
Hello, all... Been working on this lately! It's the Round2 release with all the custom goodies....
Going to be using the flat-head engine
Any and all comments are welcome.......!
I am working on a model that I plan to paint black, and was thinking how awesome it would be to have some gunmetal foil for the trim......
What do you guys think? Would this be a good seller?
What impressed me about it the most was she was playing with PowerPoint in her down time, when her work was finished!
A little nerdy, maybe.... but very cool in my book
My 11 year old niece and a couple of her friends got a little recognition for a project they worked on in their spare time. They used the PowerPoint program to make slideshow presentations. Her project was How to grow a Pumpkin. The teacher was so impressed with their work, that it was presented to the local Board of Education!
Is this the same kit as the MPC version? If it is, then this link is full of reference pics and info!

Mr. Teresi is an extremely talented builder, and I'm sure his progress pics will be a tremendous help....
