  1. Young has often been called the Godfather of Grunge, and is getting on in years, which is ironic given his name.
  2. What kind of putty did you use? You may could get some lacquer thinner and cotton swabs, then soak the swabs and wipe over the putty........ or put some thinner on a rag and wipe over the putty with your finger. I believe that would work, if it was 2 part?
  3. On a burning bridge, your options are minimal at best, depending on where you're standing and how much breath is in your chest.....
  4. It's awesome to see that even exists! I can barely make out the writing on the instructions..... What would the base kit be?
  5. Jurgen, this is THE MOST friendly, forgiving, and welcoming forum EVER! If they'll let me hang out here, then I'm positive that you are more than welcome to stay.......

  14. "Manner your minds" as my dyslexic granddad used to say....
  15. This isn't an opinion, you were just stating a fact......... Sorry, I've just been making a lot of dumb posts lately. I mean well, but end up not really being much help at all..... Mark, I hate that your thread went off the rails! Please continue with your build, A lot of the guys here are really into these older bikes, and TROG in general.......
  16. I did have a minor victory finding one kit that I thought I wouldn't be able to find.......... The Coyote X from the '80s TV show. The one I have is all there, unstarted, and has the decals and instructions........ The box is no good, so I was able to get it for reasonable money.......
  17. This is going to be cool to watch! It's the perfect era bike for a TROG build.......... I wanted to maybe offer some help with the wire wheels! Here's a link to one of the tutorials on the forum. It's just one of several tutorials in the tips section..... I'm not sure if lacing them like in the link wouldn't be a little easier? I realize you're pretty much done with these, but maybe another build could benefit?
  18. IRS units from Jaguars were often transplanted into hotrods.
  19. SpaceShipOne and it's mothership would make a great subject to model.
  20. Happen upon this thread, and read a lot of smart posts from some very smart people.

  22. I really like that color combo..... In fact, I have a model done up like that.
  23. The Bandai/Entex 1/16 Porsche 906............ Never had one, but I've drooled over the kit while studying it online.
