  1. And when you're gone, what dose it matter to you anyway? I left instructions to my wife to call a good modeling friend of mine to buy up my collection. Even if he doesn't pay up top dollar for my "rare" ones at least they won't get thrown away. Which she might have a mind to do anyway! LOL!
  2. Yep that is some pretty scenery alright! What I remember as a kid are those dirty little camp grounds for weekend warriors with my aunts and uncles for an excuse to get drunk and stupid! Just a lot of bad memories I guess.
  3. Frankly, camping to me is nothing more than pretending to be homeless or practicing being a refugee! As far as the rolling monstrosity, might as well use the money for that thing and book a 4 star hotel because that sure ain't roughing it!
  4. What about hitting it with a flat clear coat to set it?
  5. Speaking of pie, this thread reminds me of a Three Stooges pie fight! Hilarious!
  6. Forgive my ignorance, but how does he get those flames to shoot out like that? And why is it not happening the whole time the engine is running? I'm not a strong gearhead and was always curious about this with drag racers and lead sleds too!
  7. I'm no software geek but how about a single computer program that controls multiple units in a 3D environment? No need for pilots for visual reference! Potential for some wild acrobatic impossible with humans in the cockpit! Kinda like the video!
  8. Alittle trick I've been using since I was a kid. Tape a straight pins to a toothpicks, heat the pin with a small flame then quickly stick it into the plastic part deep enought to hold secure. Best to do it in a spot where you're going to glue it.
  9. Too....many....flaws!....can't ....look....at....picture!!!LOL!
  10. That is some funny stuff right there I tell you what!
  11. Before you buy or pay for it? that seems a bit rude!
  12. This is way too funny! Definitely a "diet" snack one won't want to eat!
  13. Haven't seen the donuts yet, Made me laught out loud! Might build a police car just to to use them!
  14. Makes me wonder why there isn't a cop to be found anywhere!
  15. The Comet cleanser scrub idea is a great idea! It cleans and acts as a light abrasive and gives a little tooth to the plastic for paint or primer to stick to. Dawn dishwashing liquid is designed to cut grease and oil. Heard somewhere that volunteers used it to clean rescued animals from oil spills!
  16. Not always. I've known people that got shots this year and still got the flu! Different strain. Seems they're always behind developing vaccines because of how fast the virus evolves.
  17. In Summit county near the border of Cuyahoga county. I live walking distance to Northfield Harness racetrack that just built a Hard Rock casino. If I was a gambling man I'd be in big trouble! Good thing I have this hobby to drain my extra cash instead! lol!
  18. I haven't had any problems applying decals after using it. Novus is a polish not a wax but I clean with Dawn and rinse with water before decaling too.
  19. Just watched the movie "Gone Girl" and this story reminds me of it . Sorta, kinda....
  20. Really? How can the publisher be resposable for this dammage? I have a hard time thinking it would leave the printers like that. It's obviously the careless handling by the USPS! Haven't had this problem yet but if I did, that would be were I would start to complain first!
  21. Got mine yesterday. Don't mind the no gloss paper has less reflection! But man, I gotta say I'm still a little disappointed with editing decisions for the black and white photos on pages that would show more detail in color. Just my opinion! Love the magazine!
  22. Makeup sponge wedges are perfect applicators for Future. The almost micoscopic pores of these sponges allow me to put it on as heavy or light as I want with no streaking! And they're cheap too!
  23. Just found this. Clunky die cast or not. You sir have taken a toy and made a masterpiece!
  24. When I was a kid about, 10 or 12 years old, had some Pactra paint seal up tight. Held the bottle in my Dads bench vise and used plyers to twist the lid. SNAP! twisted the neck off the bottle and painted the vise yellow! Pops wasn't happy! Spent the next hour or so with turpentine cleaning the mess.
  25. I use this cement and what I've done is trim the tip enough to open it. IIRC trim a little at a time until the small hole opens up. To keep the contents from drying out I carefully insert a straight pin like they use in new button down shirts into the opening. I then snap on the included cap. Have used the same bottle for the last 5 years and sits on my bench with no special storage.
