  1. Cheers Mark, absolutely great to race! As a retired race/rally marshall I've seen cars of this size and make doing both. The driver need a great deal of skill to drive one safely, and very fast!
  2. Tracks on today, choice of rear, fully enclosed covered bed or open bed with sides.
  3. Cab and chassis done, with track finished today. In this kit there are two options for the rear carrier, one is a totally covered unit or two which is an open pick-up style bed with sides.
  4. Thanks guys. It's a great kit with no issues. It's also interesting that within a mile of here we have both a basic Fiat 500 petrol, that a young lady is learning to drive in, and in the same house her mother who is teaching her has a deluxe EV version with a sun roof and in two tone paint and flash alloys ala ABARTH! Also a few other both basic and Abarth petrol powered and EV's in the town!
  5. Yes I built them both! I only buy kits to build.
  6. Bought this recently as I enjoy seeing tracked vehicles, but don't enjoy building them. So I started back to front in building the cab first as the engine/chassis and track units look terrifying!
  7. Brilliant build. Schwantz yet another character I saw on a regular basis whilst marshalling with Sheene, Roberts and Parrish in the day!
  8. Very nice, what exhaust system are you going to use. I used a candle and sprue and a turbo to finish this one off..
  9. Brilliant Vespa scooter! This takes me back to being a MOD here in the UK in the 1960's! There was a large number of us in town about fifty percent rode the Vespa's, and the others on Lambretta's! All of which were Italian. We sometimes re-painted them, others had the removable side panels chrome or copper plated!
  10. Decal sheets here in the UK were a large sheet with a mixed choice of brands. I have found some from Scale Productions in Holland, just waiting to get the shipping costs, which hopefully shouldn't be a great amount, Holland being quite close across the English Channel!
  11. I've tried a few, either out of stock or 'don't ship tp the UK'.
  12. AH We didn't get that programme here in the UK/
  13. Superb! A VW engined kit car based sports car! What was the name again please?
  14. Thanks guys, I'll search each one.
  15. Where can I obtain 1/24 and 1/25 scale tyre decals please?
  16. Has anyone built an AMT Studebaker Avanti please? Good-Bad or what? Did they race/customise/ or just factory stock?
  17. Thanks Trevor, neat little kit!
  18. Thanks guys. We have both petrol and EV nearby!
  19. Thanks Dave B all the way from Hobart!
  20. A few decals today.. Finished pics in 'Completed' section.
  21. In the 1960's when wheel-arch extensions were rife, we saw Ford Escorts for the first time using black rubber moulded versions, so I painted mine gloss black!
  22. Got the body on today with the boot lid, which I had to shave all round to get it to fit in the hole! Here it is open.
  23. Hi 1959. There is one kit maker that does the evo version with the big arches and rear wing, very impressive. I hope to find one soon and build.
