The beginnings of the chassis. The engine, wheels etc. Not super detailed, so to then space the wheels and continue with the body shape.

Again from ebay UK.. This is one I built earlier as a standard kit. With my home printed decals.

So the engine is built. I couldn't find a ready wired distributor as most are packed away ready to move house!

Sounds funny but I've started the engine! Here's seven of the twelve components! I hope to do some painting tomorrow before attaching the other parts.

Cheers Billy, I shall try to start to build one of the 3D VW engines supplied by a UK 3D printer guy today, so that it fits the tube chassis and body.

Having recently acquired a beach buggy kit and being a great supporter of that genre, I have started to copy the dimensions, all out of Evergreen Plasticard. So far...

Ilive about 5 miles from the Silverstone Circuit. Cadillac F1 have a unit there.

Thanks Mark, yes I'm looking forward to see it as well! My problem is that we have packed everything away to move house, so I don't know at present where the cab is!

The chassis is completed for my next project. Now, I have I have a truck body here somewhere!

I have used ex-McLaren wheels, tyres and wheel arches to lower this normally off-roader! The off-road chassis of the Montero I'm building for another project.

For my 77th Birthday on St Patrick's Day 2 kits.

I found on the shelves.. But needed the chassis etc for something else, so found in the spares some wheels and arches from a McLaren Sportscar kit. so dropped my new chassis to this.. I have a few more things to do, so will finish this week. I'm annoyed that the bonnet was clear plastic and I only have a metallic blue spray at present! 77 tomorrow so out all day!

Superb, we see a lot of tractors/farm machinery round here.
