  1. Superb finish!
  2. Thanks Les, they are similar images as I have, but wanting to do a black and white print to take out into the cabin, didn't work I don't have any red at present but like I do, I have a very nice bright Orange, so that's my tribute to the scratch-build! Here we are so far, with the one piece chassis! Here are the 'sticker' set, impressive, screen printing!
  3. Thanks guys, unfortunately No.46 but not the Superflo version on either. We can't get the decals for these in the UK but I have had delivery a set of very good 'stickers' so in fact I can see images on my PC and do the stickers at my desk.
  4. I have a Monogram Nascar Lumina no.46 Superflo Cole Trickle kit but with no instructions. I know there are sites that supply just instructions to download, I just need the decal placing pictures. Please has any idea where I can get these jpeg downloads
  5. Now I have the Lumina kit body but used most of the kit to build a Nascar Pick-up. So I'm building a basic flat floor with an axle each end but I now need the take of the back axle and widen it! OOPS!
  6. Now, weren't these a rear engine V8 and aircooled?
  7. Thanks guys, very much.

Thanks guys, for all of your input!
  9. Thanks guys. Yes I have built kits of rally cars with dirt on the body but particularly on and around the wheels and tyres. Having been a Rally marshal about 40 years ago there were some very fast Group 2 cars that flew on a regular basis. The World Rally Championships now have still cars that fly!
  10. Superb! I remember it well!
  11. Thanks Larry, nice kit goes together very well, but when decaling the numbers sometimes don't match up with the decal sheet!
  12. Thanks guys. I look back at life, and drove the first Quattro to land in the UK, having their press officer as a neighbour!
  13. Finished today, I added the lamps from the kit and scrap plastic mud flaps.
  14. OK Steve. Now windows in.. And decals started. On the front wing I have dripped some decal softener, to cover the bonnet clip. It has dried now and shows that bonnet clip.
  15. On the way out this afternoon we saw a 1960's black Ford Pick-Up lowered on the floor. A bit wide for our A Class narrow roads.
  16. I have a cabin in the back garden, so spend 2 hours in the morning, perhaps another 2 hours in the afternoon, and if I want to finish something off an hour or so in the evening.
  17. Thanks Steve. Which maker is the JB kit? I've been trying to find one. Many moons ago, we had a Press Officer of Audi GB as a neighbour. One evening he bought home the first Audi Quattro in the UK! Showing my interest whilst building a kit car, he took me out in it, the power and road-holding weres incredible. Even better when we were about 5 or so miles away he said 'you drive' and I bought it and him home! What an experience having only seen one in a motor magazine in pre-production photo's!
  18. Thanks Carl and yes you are right!
  19. Update 31.07.24.. Decals difficult to lay up on dashboard with raised areas. Decal onto scrap plastic, clear gloss, cut out and attach to dashboard. Test fit body.. May add decals before final fit adding clear gloss to decals!
