  1. Boy thats pretty and i like that trunk lid too. good stuff!
  2. yeah those, i like the looks of em.
  3. if its the roadrunner i did years back i'd venture to say no. I saw some google pix of the yellow elim wheels and they are indeed diff.
  4. Thanks David appreciate it.
  5. Does anyone if all the versions of the Cougar Elim. kits had the same wheels? I want to build mine up like the second pic, I like those wheels. I assume they do but we all know how that goes.. Thanks.
  6. well that's always good when you're the only dog in the fight so to speak lol
  7. Interesting! Maybe i'm thinking of a slightly diff year but either way it looks good and glad for ya lol. Sounds like a busy sunday good luck!
  8. Not a fan at all of the spyder look of that car. But I reckon you will do it nicely and make it look good.
  9. Should be good yeah, and having that black on the bottom really helps the visual. The Gt's weren't supposed to have it black down there i don't think, but when I did my GT i did so and it looks good.
  10. on the shelby's they're black. At least on the ref. pix i went off of. it is a nice look IMO
  11. you could hit the mirrors satin or semi-gloss black?
  12. I use rustoleum but i use the primer from the Painters Touch line. I don't know if it's different in formula from what you posted. its a tall can like that. It's labeled as 2x coverage, but i dont have an issue losing detail or anything. It dries nice n crisp and i can sand / wetsand it. I enjoy it quite a bit.
  13. That's pretty sweet, i like it. What engine is that in there?
  14. if he's still got his bank of photos pretty much everything will be factory or factory-type efforts. That's his style also
  15. As a matter of fact my best friend is a GN freak. He even had a T-Type project car not long ago. I'll ask him because i'm sure he has some various pix of 1:1 on one of his computers still.
  16. Great build, the Iron Man was always there in a pinch...
  17. Nice finds for sure last i saw in person, that 2010 was like 25+ still so kudos to you hahah
  18. I've seen aroudn the net that kit can really build up nice. I overlook snappers alot
  19. I'm cool with doing it as the coupe, I don't think i've seen it in my local stores. I think its a good lookin car and would be a classy change of pace on my shelf.
  20. I suck at search lately, what gives? haha thank you.
  21. This isn't much of a kit review, but figured this was the best place for this. I was thrasing-about in the Revell site, and I came across the Cadillac Lowrider. I knew it was being re released a few months ago (after the donk version of a while back) but didn't give it much thought. Upon further review of the instructions, I realized they actually did some nice stuff on this one. Revell re did the suspension giving some stock ride height options, and 'normalized' the interior. Gone are the gaudy pillow looking seat treatments. It still has opening trunk and from what I saw online can build to a nice Caddy. I did a search here and didn't come up with any discussion on this yet, but I will add it to my to-do list now. Just have to decide on an appropriate wheel treatment.
  22. What year was this one from? Motorsport.com has a deep photo archive, although I don't know off hand if it goes that far back. Also, Jayski.com is all nascar pix and is very deep in years back to 2000 I believe.
  23. Wow, that's smashing right there. You get a pass on the covers the rest is perfect lol
  24. That's a classy Boss there, lookin good.
  25. One thing to add, is I had a speed issue as well; and it showed. Then I took a break and amassed a stash. Now i have two or three going at once. While A is drying I can go back to B and while they're drying I can start cleaning up and prepping C. Forces me to slow down and gives me time to think. I don't know if you're able to spend on multiple kits at a time but if you can it can force you into more drying time.
