  1. The AMT kit is a pain in the behind. I've built two and both times its just a dog. Go with the Revell kits.
  2. I didn't think it was, as I ran across the post in UG during my search yesterday. Maybe it was yours and I was thinking something diff. in my mind about the wheels. Yours is dynamite
  3. It's the Jon show haha, but both looking excellent.
  4. Lookin mighty fine so far. Good stuff and very nice on the windows
  5. lol maybe i was dreaming or something but I did have this on my list in the coming months and was starting some idea-compiling. And Roger apparently I never commented cause it's not in My Content either. Rats.
  6. I wanna make a Competizione with it and an aftermarket wing.
  7. Thanks guys, i'll keep digging. It was really nicely done I hope I find it.
  8. Oh its not enough to label 'hard' heavens no. Just a lil awkward how they did the panels. But yeah its a well thought out design. Not AS well thought as their Italia kit. Now that thing is brainless to fit together lol
  9. I did, no joy on finding it. Lately I've been very good at finding builds i've seen previously but not this time.
  10. Back in April or may someone posted a NICE Chevelle (Maybe a Nova?) In the Under Glass. It was a dark grey metallic, and it used the wheels off of the 86 Monte Kit. I can't find the thread and I searched a fair bit. I know its vague, but anyone recall what I'm talking about? I know for sure it was late 60's early 70's bowtie for sure.
  11. The building of the interior can be a pain in the arse as I found out on the Red one I did. The slots for the door panels can be fiddly. But the rest of the kit yeah, its nicely designed lol.
  12. That's pretty awesome, especially under the hood. Love it
  13. cool cool will do thanks.
  14. Yeah if you're willing to part with it I for sure will make a serious attempt to use it. Does it have headlamps or a headlamp cover? if not im sure i can fashion some blackouts.
  15. o rly? Are you using the spare nose?
  16. well now that'd be interesting. I don't believe Tamiya or the others made their kits with seperate noses tho
  17. Its fine to like and build them yeah, but i have more than need be lol. Luckily they make good donors for other projects; Especially the firebottles.
  18. I actually have an 86-7 Monte SS Nose spare matter of fact lol..
  19. lol yeah I went thru a spell about a year ago where all i messed with was Nascar Lumina and T-Birds. I'm ashamed to admit in public how many of those i have downstairs.
  20. No problem. Just don't ask which ones had which covers because that's a supreme ###### shoot lol. I do think the Days of Thunders kits all had the Hendrick covers, since H.M built all the Luminas in the movie. I don't care for H.M myself, so i shave the lettering off when applicable.
  21. It is but maybe they wanted to be sure people knew what they were referring to? lol
  22. No all the Luminas were the same, some had HENDRICK ENGINES valve covers, some were blank and some said CHEVROLET. Thats the only differences.
  23. I'm with him on the beer bottles. Also back in HS me and my buddy took empty coffecans, quickcrete, and leftover broken hockey sticks and made painting posts.
  24. Ooh Okay right on then. Man thats dramatic, but I like it
  25. Thats a cool story i never knew that, and that Riverside Parts Beretta would be a great unique build. From the looks of the guts the 90s Lumina kit would be a simplistic donor. Maybe even the body too with a stock beretta nose.
