KIT REVIEW SUGGESTION
Scuderia replied to sjordan2's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Some people may interpret things differently visually as well. For me I LOVE seeing pix of trees of a kit im interested in. The instructions without seeing shape and depth size etc doesnt do it for me. unless i have parts i can feel and match to my pix in the sheet -
Wacky stuff: '32 Ford Sedan with scratchbuilt chassis
Scuderia replied to kerc's topic in WIP: Model Cars
i'm not much of a Rod fan but that would be killer. I'd fancy it with the big wheels and low pro tires, reconsider that route. Could really be somethin -
This is so awesome to watch.

CLearing over decal on Tires
Scuderia replied to jjsipes's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
What they said. Also what i do is run some LAQUER thinner over my race tires pre decal then spray. If you forget and mount the wheels first, simply keep four dimes on your workbench. They fit perfect over the wheels and protect them from the dullcoat blast. -
That's great determination. Looks great so far

That's noble of you!! Thank you kindly!

Lookin good so far, ready for some road action. I just got another Motorcraft, wish I had a folgers decal sheet, looks good.

The main reason was I bought it open box without decals ( i knew that before hand ) but got stalled on what I wanted to do as far as body livery. So I built the internals and it's sat in the box for a year until I 'got around to it'. With Revell reissuing the kit as Compuware I decided to put it to use finally. This week or so I'll probably offer up the body for trade, but it'll have no wing obviously lol

Rats, tough break hopefully it can make a comeback soon.

Thats super, love the color. I got more done before i called it quits for the day. Re-sprayed the chassis in a primer grey and got the cockpit firewall, middle section and half the cage glued down. Passenger side is mocked up. Things pressing along quickly since the 'guts' of the Vette build were all done before it was abandoned.

Thanks jon, i'm in progress of chop-chop on the roll cage of the vette and doing some dry fitting to the cobra interior floor

I'll kick off the build with this effort, with the 07 GT500. This one is a racer conversion using bits from an abandoned Corvette C5-R build. I fashioned a lower splitter with styrene sheet, and added some side window scoops from eBay.

I cut the hood louvers out of the 90 Grand Prix Turbo hood and am adapting them to RM's Mustang convertible hood. I want to make copies when i get my resin kit.
-
thats gorgeous, and the trim piece on the hood was a nice touch. I like it chrome like that. Great stuff
-
thats no good, sorry for the bad luck. Hope you can get that one on track soon
