  1. Lookin' good there. Nice on your selection of the blue as well. Nice subtly metallic in there. The kit tire decals from this era didn't hold up well on the tires, many opt for an aftermarket set but you did sweet here.
  2. That Fiorano would look ballsy with the Italia wheels and a little low-low
  3. front shot loooks like its ready to chew some behind. in a good way! i like it.
  4. From looks of it that paint really pops and the assembly looks real clean. For an effort with that many years off you're doin well, I'm interested to see this progress.
  5. I'm not familar with that kit or the engine off hand. I'll google it and see what comes up.
  6. I'm a Giants fan, but thats lookin sweet lol. Good job. what paint is that ?
  7. those are killer, look so great. Awesome era in racing. I need to get on some Group C love.
  8. I agree at least from that era, and you did good on giving it that wore out look.
  9. I hadn't thought of the Talledega engine either actually. There's a few of those for parts floating around the 'bay. It'll be a street car for sure, nothing too radical i don't think
  10. Cool cool, i didnt know that info off hand. I think i might lean that direction since i'm familiar with building them and have them on hand. lol I just gotta decide on an air cleaner assembly.
  11. Unfortunately I don't in my motors bin, but I'm open to options. The ones in the poll were ones I had on hand i could think of.
  12. Yeah I have a few monogram Citgo Tbird kits collecting dust so pulling an engine is no sweat from those. Since you mentioned the Windsor aspect it's certainly piqued my interest more in that route.
  13. REALLY? hmm question. Do you have pix of it in there?
  14. I'm considering picking up said kit, but its sans engine. I have some options and can't decide. I'm not worrying about historical accuracy as it will have a wheel swap and some different body paint. Which direction would you folks go?
  15. Nice clean work and that dash looks super too, good job. Sorry to hear about the comp, good luck with the save on that one.
  16. That Italia looks mean with the black wheels... Well that car just plain looks mean but you did it justice there in the recovery.
  17. I see that, and it looks killer. I like this alot. great stuff!
  18. I never gave those amt vettes much thought, but yours is slick. Nice on the emblems too, i like this.
  19. The detail on the kit is so bland, they make great hackemups lol. Your dirt track weekend racer is nice. I like the trunk details too good thinking.
  20. In HS i did work at a Toys R Us and needless to say in the time I was there the kit section was immaculate during my shifts at least.
  21. Not sure but one of my 'bored' side-projects is a Monogram GT hardtop. I chopped swapped side panels on the Convert and cobra kit, trim-down and and im in process of putty and sand. It's gonna be a "Custom" keeping the Cobra spoiler cause I don't wanna be bothered making a GT spoiler.
  22. I know 100% how u feel it was a minefield at my Mikes also. I had the register girl do a price check on the Shelby for me. Thankfully the price was chopped down well enough to still be a good buy for me. But some heads up would have been nice.
  23. That would be cool to buy a repop and get a copy of an orig issue box. or even the box front from an orig issue. I think that'd b neat.
  24. Hey Jon I'm thinkin of doin this one next, when you unbox it can you fill me in on fit and design? And why do you have an irritation with Mikes?
