  4. I dont know about your area but i have an ACO hardware near me that still does hobby, pine derby, and some light RC stuff. they have a nice variety of Evergreen Styrene. if maybe u have a hardware store near you thats still into those sort of things.

  15. i had a question about the parts pack 427, it looks like the parts are set for a drag version, have any of you used this for a street engine? I can't find many photos in googling other than a drag setup.

  19. Picked up the Heavy Chevy with the 40% off coupon. 13.50 after tax can't complain. Better than what I saw after ship on the 'Bay even. All the drag race parts are for trade if anyones so interested.

We all have opinions on what they should or shouldn't be tooling, and this segment of that discussion was done in-depth back in May I think about the state of the hobby and what ppl like to build. There's good stuff on this release info and a lil bit for everyone IMO. I really enjoyed hearing ppl's ideas on what they'd do with the kits in the original post.
  22. lucky that kit is on my to do list. Sounds like a good price too. those build up nice. As far as seeing kits at the grocer, i think it depends. you can run into kits all sorts of places. Nice thing is a lot of times you get a killer deal because of it.
  23. Those grade 5ers had better looking cars than my 69 i built when i was 16. And I'm not joking. Good job and hats off to them!
  24. I go with this scenario. Japanese maker, japanese kit maker, strong hobby country still. Makes sense to me.
