  2. thats wild. I think i wanna do flocking on a some i wanna build but I don't know which flocking or embossing powder i wanna buy.
  3. Is that grill molded in originally? Lookin pretty racy so far. I see you fancy black wheels on your builds lol. looks good.
  4. That's great work. I'm miserable at trying to make anything that wasn't in the box. That's awesome stuff
  5. I dont have to start usually until 11am my time. So commonly i'll be up 'late' i suppose. But also im up thinking of how i'm gonna do things and visualizing. It doesn't keep me up but def. i'm excited to get home and put ideas to use, even for factory stock builds
  6. Hey thats a pretty good retrospective! I like those, good stuff. For as many nascar kits as i started I don't have as many finished as I should that's for sure. You did well, keep it up.
  7. The ones that appear thumb'd are uploaded from a users gallery here on the site. Or they attached photos at the time of their posting. Users whom use Fotki for instance can use the pic button and point to the image itself non-thumb'd.
  8. Thanks eveyone for the kind words appreciate it. As a matter of fact when i dug out my orange poop aeroback ( i built it in my teen years) Sunday , apparently it still had taillights on it. So I can finish this in style. :-)
  9. Bingo. I didn't even realise some of the categories were recently renamed
  10. Also, right on the Ypsi/Arbor border is a hobby shop called Riders. They are kinda national but a pretty down to earth feel. Lots of military and Tamiya. Great assortment of brushes too, if you're into that sort of thing
  11. Did you use the orig. chassis and motor mounts for the 5.0 or did u use a modified stang chassis?
  12. thas way too cool. I love the bodywork and the underhood fit n finish. Just awesome!
  13. That really pops and super clean. looks great!
  14. Good job on a rare subject looks real nice
  15. I use rattle can yellows as well. And yeah they can be tricky. i use a $4 can from Home Depot. This is a random google photo but thats the design of the cans. I lay some down thin, wet sand then lay some more down. I used it on my Firebird Formula i have posted in Under Glass. This stuff's pretty easy to use if you keep your can warm and do good prep.
  16. 1985 Camaro snap. Looks like a fun straight-forward one to get into.
  17. I'd like to try that sort of thing soon but I have been scared off by some promo prices.
  18. I started to sort it out to make it easier to look for stuff but then just quit lol. It was mostly Viper, Corvette and 07 Shelby kits here.
  19. Very nicely done, and kind of you to post them up here. At least he'll get his due posthumously. Or her I suppose lol.
  20. Thanks I appreciate it guys, and yeah I remember Rusty complaining on a number of occasions. Not to single him out unfairly, but for some reason he's a guy that stood out to me.
  21. I don't think I've seen this before, but you did real well on it. Good stuff
  22. Looks real good! Was that the Revell kit? i did the Integra back in the day was a fun build. Yours is slick nicely done
  23. Yeah it took so many months to get them both to this point I just spaced on it. Mostly since i keep the hoods on during a lot of final stuff. Thanks I'm proud of em simply cause i didn't quit when they both gave me heck on earth.
  24. I just now realized i forgot to do the cowls and wipers. I'll touch those up soon prolly won't re-photograph though. The taillights were missing and they're tough to find. If i run across some, I'll add them. the 86 kit taillights aren't tall enough, I thought of that too.
