  2. That looks awesome, really like the stripes on this one as well. great all around
  3. Depends on your definition of 'real' although that might be a give-a-way lol
  4. Yes Yes and Yes. HOPEFULLY i can get the lumina in decals and photographed before Wednesday. And NO it won't be an Intimidator Lumina, but a cool one nonetheless
  5. Today was a wetsand, sand, scribe, prime, spray day...
  6. I like that variety Joe C especially that Rain-X , Focus WRC and the Castrol Mugen very nice!
  7. that looks killer man nice stuff so far!

  9. No I see a laundry list of them on eBay, and other online vendors may have some as well; that's just one example.

    1 Fast Caddy

That's too cool, great to see one of these in scale. Very nice!
  13. i tried a rubbing compound on that one as well to try it out and didnt go well. It got polished but yeah its hard to get out of crevices.
  14. you can also add a dab of dish soap to your wet sand water. it helps to lengthen the life of your square giving it some lubrication
  15. yah im in love with 1200 and 1500 saved my tail a few times already the last couple months that red Shelby i showed actually had to be thoroughly wet sanded with 3m and re hit.
  16. yeah its like $3 or $4 bux and u can get a mix of grits or like a 3 sheet of a particular grit. its 3m brand. they're long, designed to fit on their brand rubber sanding palm block thing. I have one of those too for the big flat areas on Xbox cases.
  17. yah same for me no worky. Did u change the folder name or anything by chance? you may be seeing cache
  18. oddly i found my 1000, 1500, etc at oreilleys auto. in the auto body section. Theres even higher grits too but prolly from a dedicated hobby shop / hobby e retailer
  19. lol this might be a dumb question, but did u rinse it off under the faucet after sanding/wetsanding? i do that to get the chunks off. then let my ceiling fan air dry it.
  20. how about a wetsand, mask job with a really thin masking tape so u dont get that raised edge going on, then reclear just that area?
  21. Thanks Rick, yeah this one was a real fiddly sort of build. Right before I was set to clear the interior fell apart. Which was a blessing because I was able to get the body on the chas' better but still o my
  22. Thanks, i also omitted the roof/hood stripes. I never liked them on modern street cars.
  23. Yeah, it's another one of these. I hate posting re-tread but I'm proud of this one. Not for how it looks, but since I ran into issues and didn't panic and didn't bail out on the build either. (although it crossed my mind) Nose didn't fit, glass wanted to fall out and the wheel assembly was a disaster. Glad to have this off my list.
  24. That looks ready to rumble, i love the stance and colour and all. Very slick.( no pun intended)
