What do you use to polish your bodies out??

can you, or should you decal over buffing compounds such as Novus, Tamiya, etc... I know not to decal over wax...

No engine, very minimal chassis and interior detail....body looks nice....its going to be a quick builder.

What year is this kit supposed to represent?? and if you could direct me to some exterior and interior reference pics it would be much appreciated!!!!

Well, my package of goodies showed up from HLJapan...and it included these that I was waiting for to start this build: and we know have a mockup of the Kone Killer Porsche RSR.. now I just need to decide on a paint color.... I'm thinking Tamiya Light Gunmetal and leave the rims chrome, or either Tamiya Mica Blue or Duplicolor Orange Mist, and paint the wheels flat black... I'm open for suggestions...

HEY!!! thats stereotyping!!! I have an IROC, and I dont have a Mullet!! makes me wish my IROC was driveable so I could get free dinner..... but alas, the suspension is ripped out for $1200 in upgrades..

Heres my haul from ebay over the last few weeks.... The Aoshima Toyota, AMT Buick and wheel sets are from my trip to pegasus hobbies last weekend...

that place is pretty close to a modelers wet dream!! huge selection of kits and aoshima rim sets..plus, it is the home of pegasus rims after all... I'll post pics of my bounty when I get back to Vegas, but lets just say i'm $150 lighter in the wallet... reason for the trip is I got invited to tour the Surf City Garage Musclecar collection...and check out the cruise in happening there tomorrow... I'll have pics from that as well... and as a side bonus..it's always nice to sit on the beach, relax and read a good book!!

a little update on my DriftShelby....some mock up pics. still need to finish the PE belts for the drivers seat and install it, otherwise interior is done....body is ready for white primer. still need to finish up the front suspension.

I got mine from my LHS...but I know you can get them from tower hobbies..

haha..I thought those were considered "stock" amongst 1:1 mustang guys....along with underdrive pullies and a K&N.... atleast all the fox's i've street raced have been "stock" with those parts added....
