Wow!! So much for the drift off being competetive!!! David's build is like having John Force run his funny car in the local street drags!!! -

Late 70's Dodge long & short beds

I'd be in for atleast 1 of each if the cost is reasonable.. -
That is really nice. If you do a Camaro one, let me know... but I must make one comment, the McQ car should have a Washington plate as the movie is set in Seattle... but I am a huge 2nd gen F-Body Fan and you nail the look on every one of those cars.

Made some progress on the drift 'stang over the last few days... got the motor closer to being done, just need some vacuum lines and paint touch up's.. got a start on my roll bar, took some 1/8" tubing, and heated it with a BBQ lighter and bent to shape. Its the first time I have ever gone this far with scratchbuilding, and I am having ALOt of fun with it. fabbed a heater/radio delete plate from .010 styrene sheet.. I want the car to look stripped down for racing, so to make it look like there is no carpet in the car, I added some .010 strips to the floor to look like the pattern in a bare floorpan. it'll blend in better with some primer and paint. a look at my rollcage in the car. I have some sport buckets coming from Brendan, so when those get here, I'll be able to finish the cage and rear seat delete.

I hadnt thought of that one, but nope...

Made some progress on my drift 'stang tonight. Got the rear seat delete started, but still needs some fine tuning. also got the engine started. the orange will be my second color of my sponsor colors. If you can figure out what company uses orange and white, you can figure out my sponsor.

Now that is pretty cool!!! I like it!

that looks pretty cool. I'd do it as a mildly hotrodded car...maybe leave the straight six but add dual exhaust, chrome valver cover and air cleaner and some mags are chrome reverse wheels.

power to weight ratio, thats where carbon fiber comes into play and you nowhere close on the sponsor.... I'll give some clues as I get closer

I have a couple kits that I masked off some areas and the tape left some stubborn adhesive. I have tried dawn, 70% alcohol and nail polish remover with no luck, any ideas? I t was really weird as tamiya tape left a pattern in the paint so that I could see where each seperate peice of tape was. The body sat in a dehydrator for 8 hours then gassed out for over a week. Is it possible that being in the dehydrator with the tape on caused this?

I have decided to bring out a big dog to play with the little cars... A Shelby GT500....it will be done up as a fully sponsored ride, but I wont reveal the sponsor until later, but you'll get a kick out of it... I have some resin side scoops and a Roush style rear spoiler from PSF hobbies. I may have to narrow the spoiler to get it to fit how I want it. I am using these wheels, and I may paint the centers to match the 2nd color of my sponsor's colors. I found a parts box NASCAR roll cage that I have already started to modify to fit the car. I'll remove the back seat, and fab a block off as well and pull some Sparco style front seats from a different kit.
