one piece of advise Dave.... the first thing I do when I pull these older NASCAR kits out of the box, is check the chassis and bodies for warpage..... theres usually a little bit on every body and chassis...

I picked this up today for $17.00. A friend just opened a new LHS here in town. I have never built a JoHan kit..so this should be interesting.... I have already emailed Fred Cady about finding some stock stripes... I'm going back next weekend after I get paid to pick up the JoHan 71 Cuda stret machine and several of the AMT 67 GMC stepside pickups.

I got another Revell '69 Nova SS and a $50 Hobbytown giftcard.... also got a bunch of DVD's: Ironman, the complete set of Star Wars, the complete set of Indiana Jones, and all 3 Bourne movies...

Monogram also has an '81-'85 Grand Prix kit..it was re-released in the late 90's as a Petty car under the "legends" series.....you can find them on ebay
