  1. I generally use filler for filling sink marks...that seems to be where I have most of my trouble..
  2. Harry, I would love to see a tutorial as well.. I used to draw cars pretty good, but havent done it in years.... also, what does photoshop run, $$ wise????
  3. I'm using Tamiya Polyester putty and 3M Piranha Putty, and it is ghosting thru the primer... am i not sanding it right, or should I put a coat of sealer over it??

  5. The Aoshimas look good... I might go with a grey or gunmetal center...it would really set off that striking color!!!
  6. Here's a pic of my workspace.... It's an old metal desk in the corner of my bedroom.. my paint booth is of the "open air" type, made by the "back porch" brand..

  12. It's my understanding that Revell does require a storefront....atleast from what I have heard from other actual retailers.
  13. I'll be watching this one to see if you have any issue building the "GT" kit, as I have that one to build as well. I always thought the movie car was more of a grey than a champagne??
  14. That turned out great Bob!!! The front end suprisingly fits with the style of the magnum body!!
  15. I like the mock up shot, it just has the "look"!!! and post reminds me, I need to order more roll cage padding!!

    Tamiya 1st gen CRX. Tamiya metallic red and TS-13 clear. Tamiya German grey and Matte black interior with detail master grey flocking. XS Tuning wheels and front rotors. Wheels are Tamiya Matte Black with lips sanded down and red sharpie over the white plastic. minor trimming of front spindles to get the front wheels sucked in under wheel wells.

  21. you can get a set of open rallys like that from the AMT '75 Vette convertible....

  23. if you want a high detail kit of the mid-80's celica...look for a Fujimi High Mechanism series kit.. it seems to be as detailed as an Enthusiast series kit.....
