  1. Well done Dave. A nice Clean build and best of all it's a Chaparral!!
  2. I really don't care for the Tudor Series Racer and this even less. Anyone else reminded of the Top Gear episode with the Robin Reliant when looking at this ?
  3. Camera fell off of desk and broke the 70-300mm Lens that was on it, that I just got back from Nikon repair ~3 weeks ago.....................
  4. Amazing Detail Drago. Looking forward to updates!!
  5. That's Purdy Kevin. Looks like you've sorted out any painting issues you had.
  6. What a Wonderful Collection of Period Shots where the Color hasn't faded and the quality is Excellent. Steve Thanks for bringing them to our attention.
  7. Joe Please Don't be Sorry, Thank You for presenting the Sheets. After looking at the sheets for a bit I knew where I had seen them before, Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland repopped the Triumph and even used the same Instructions! Seems what AMT did was chop up the Kit into sections so each kit got a portion of the parts tree. But AMT only offered a portion of the Complete Kit as they left out the Racing Faring.
  8. If the Quality of the Build is a reflection of the Accuracy I'd have to say you've got a reference Build there.
  9. In the '64 Season Chaparral used a modified 6 "spoke" Lotus Wheel in several races, Mosport being one of'em if you'd like to see the Design. Now, Anyone out there have a Picture or Link to a Good Picture showing the Color of the Wheel? Seems as near as I can tell, they were a Blue Color. But I've seen Pics where the lower body and interior were from Orange/Brown to the Maroon I believe they were. HELP!!!!
  10. Yea what's been said before - Well Done there Mitch!
  11. Their problem was they didn't pass it through their Engineering Tech! Remember, Sure Engineers Design, but it's the Techs that makes the Silly Things Work!
  12. Hey Joe, Any chance you might post the part of the Instruction Sheet showing which parts came with which kit??
  13. Great Build, and the inside is as nice as the outside. Imagine back in '62, 3 if one of those existed. Keep a Hay Bale in the back for traction and cover. Racing, ME Officer? Heck no, I'm just on my way home to feed the Horses..............
  14. The final blow for me came when I got an Epson R3000 Printer. I can now print Pictures, Images if you must that I feel Good about Framing and hanging on the Walls of my Home. The other facet to Digital Imaging is the abulity to relay an image pretty much instantly around the World. I've had hunderds of Pictures on the "Local" News less than 20 minutes fron taking them. But to me the downside to Digital is Most Pictures never exist outside of the Digital World and because of that are more likely to no exist in the Future. I have a Picture of my Great Grandfather that was taken in the1890's, just how many of todays Images do you think will be around 120 years from now?
  15. Well done Jim, Congrats!
  16. Hi Tom Right off let's get this clear - I don' know nuttin' 'bout birthin' no Babies n know about the same 'bout 1/18th scale Car Kits, but if there's a Hot Rodded Ford Flathead out there you could trade off one of your 2 option engines for I think it'd make for a heck of a Hot Rod Build!
  17. Welcome to the Forum Shane.
  18. Here ya go Mark, http://www.paxtonauto.com
  19. Here's a little High Speed Photography! I saw this in I-10 while we were West bound and they were East Bound. Combined Speed 150mph+. And on the way home I caught a REO Speed-Wagon
  20. They're both A-Body Wagons and except for the IDing parts like Grills and Rear Ends (different tail lights) share many parts and body panels. The Chassis's are the same.
  21. Mitch, here's a thumb nail history of it. Interesting how close your rear wheel well flair and Grey Ghosts match. Road Racers Forever!!
  22. Mitch, What a Great Build. I wonder if you've ever heard of the "Grey Ghost" from the Original TransAm Series? It's kind'a like you brought it back on Steriods!
  23. A very nice build of a Historic Racer and your Photography match's the quality of the Built - Well Done all around.
  24. Harley has built more powerful V-twins but Never a Prettier one! OK I'm in on the Watch List!!
