I really don't care for the Tudor Series Racer and this even less. Anyone else reminded of the Top Gear episode with the Robin Reliant when looking at this ?
What a Wonderful Collection of Period Shots where the Color hasn't faded and the quality is Excellent. Steve Thanks for bringing them to our attention.
Joe Please Don't be Sorry, Thank You for presenting the Sheets. After looking at the sheets for a bit I knew where I had seen them before, Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland repopped the Triumph and even used the same Instructions! Seems what AMT did was chop up the Kit into sections so each kit got a portion of the parts tree. But AMT only offered a portion of the Complete Kit as they left out the Racing Faring.
In the '64 Season Chaparral used a modified 6 "spoke" Lotus Wheel in several races, Mosport being one of'em if you'd like to see the Design. Now, Anyone out there have a Picture or Link to a Good Picture showing the Color of the Wheel? Seems as near as I can tell, they were a Blue Color. But I've seen Pics where the lower body and interior were from Orange/Brown to the Maroon I believe they were. HELP!!!!
Their problem was they didn't pass it through their Engineering Tech! Remember, Sure Engineers Design, but it's the Techs that makes the Silly Things Work!
Great Build, and the inside is as nice as the outside. Imagine back in '62, 3 if one of those existed. Keep a Hay Bale in the back for traction and cover. Racing, ME Officer? Heck no, I'm just on my way home to feed the Horses..............
The final blow for me came when I got an Epson R3000 Printer. I can now print Pictures, Images if you must that I feel Good about Framing and hanging on the Walls of my Home. The other facet to Digital Imaging is the abulity to relay an image pretty much instantly around the World. I've had hunderds of Pictures on the "Local" News less than 20 minutes fron taking them. But to me the downside to Digital is Most Pictures never exist outside of the Digital World and because of that are more likely to no exist in the Future. I have a Picture of my Great Grandfather that was taken in the1890's, just how many of todays Images do you think will be around 120 years from now?
Hi Tom Right off let's get this clear - I don' know nuttin' 'bout birthin' no Babies n know about the same 'bout 1/18th scale Car Kits, but if there's a Hot Rodded Ford Flathead out there you could trade off one of your 2 option engines for I think it'd make for a heck of a Hot Rod Build!
Here's a little High Speed Photography! I saw this in I-10 while we were West bound and they were East Bound. Combined Speed 150mph+.
And on the way home I caught a REO Speed-Wagon
They're both A-Body Wagons and except for the IDing parts like Grills and Rear Ends (different tail lights) share many parts and body panels. The Chassis's are the same.
Mitch, What a Great Build. I wonder if you've ever heard of the "Grey Ghost" from the Original TransAm Series? It's kind'a like you brought it back on Steriods!
