  14. The text on the side Panel of the Box has the following "Prestige means "held in high regard by others". AMT model kits have earned this esteem by offering the finest models available. In the Presitge series we offer a group of exceptional models with added value including white sidewall tires, metal chroming foil, trophies and display accessories, and reference material to complete a truly significant product". Here's what the Trophy & Display Chrome Tree includes' Otherwise they were standard kits of simular kits.

  19. One of my favorite things to do is watch folks reaction when they hear I've Never owned a Cell Phone. You'd think I removed my hat and they found out I had a third Eye!! Any, Yep I remember the Diner Guy on the Twilight Zone
  20. I don't remember any apple strudel, but I do remember the drawer full of donuts. Yep, A Pure Heavenly Aroma when the Doors Opened.............
  21. The way to tell if someone grewup in the Los Angeles area in the 50's - 60's is ask'em if they remember the Helms Truck. Ahhhh, Apple Strudel on Wednesday!!
  22. Being you were a a shaver, they probably didn't hear you. I like getting on the left side of cell phone driving idiots at a light and just rap the pipes on my Harley. I know they can't hear the cell phone then. Jim, I had a couplea Harleys including a 45 Flathead that had a 3 Speed w/ Reverse. I used to carry 20-50 links of 530 Chain, 4 Master Links and a Chain Breaker along with a couple of Qts of 70 weight and a set of Points that's fit late 40's - late 60's HD's for those that Didn't make it Home. Also for Long Drives in the Sierra Foothills or through the Santa Cruz Mountain and up and down the Coast I often carried Many frozen packs of "ICE" with Beer and Ice Water in the other Sidebag. Yep I sold out and went Woosie. But I Never broke down on the Wing n Never needed 5 minutes to Unkink after a long days Ride.
  23. Heck it was Cell Phones that got me off Motorcycles. Folks would just wander into my lane while chatting on their Phones. My response was to raise my right leg, hit the Throttle and remove the Drivers side rearview mirror n not slow down. I just figured they wern't using it anyway so they didn't really need it. I was driving a Wineberry Red Goldwing at the time, so it wasn't like they Couldn't See Me. Statute of Limitations has Long Passed
  24. Thanks Tom. I'm kinda partial to this area also . The background "Hills" are the Dragoon Mountains. The Rock face is the Eastern Entrance to Cochise Stronghold.
