You might check around and see if there's someone in your area with a Vac - u - Form type of machine and just try to make replacements out of styrene! They'd be a touch large but should be serviceable.

Ray, Great Idea and execution. Given your past history with sharp instruments you might want to add a 2 - 3" sheet of clear Plastic to the blade side of the Rack as a shield.

Nickel Plating found on the Older Vehicles has a grey tone and is not as shiny as Chrome.

Yep, a tad early for Chrome. Nickel was the Plating used back then.
