  1. I've had the same e-mail address since '92 and yep most of us ran Pine under "Shell" accounts that were limited to Text. On Usenet Forums you'd get banned for any Personal promotion of a Commercial Business. The trick was to have a Friend ask a question that you as the business owner could answer . I had friends in the '70's that used 300 baud modems connected to Computers they build themselves on their home phones prior to the Internet. There's no doubt, the World had changed. As to your earlier statement that the world would be pretty dull without all the Online stuff I don't think so. Seems to me now with all the electronic distractions people are getting dull. Maybe it's selective memory but I sure don't recall being bored prior to the Internet and all the handheld devices. Heck you could have 8 people in a room talking to each other. Today put 8 people in a room and most aren't even looking at each other. So sure there's things today that have improved, but I don't know it they're all that much better.
  2. Ron, That's a really nicely built and painted Car, Well Done. Also I'm glad you held off posting your build until you were as happy with the pictures as you seemed to be about your build. Seems all to often folks are in a hurry for some reason to post Something just so long as it gets out quickly. Personally as soon as I see a blurry picture I stop looking. Needless to say there was no reason to stop looking at yours.
  3. Thanks Carl. Yep, there's just something about Rainbows.
  4. Ray, Ya leaving yourself the Option for the Ultimate Custom Tools and Frustration Reliever huh?
  5. Really good Job there Paul both on the Car/Decals and on the Pictures. It's too bad the Kit Maker cast the Aero bits so thick as it detracts from the overall effect I think.

  21. Hi Scott, Thanks for adding the March 707. The McLaren was a M8A. Neither in M.H.O. should be on anyones "Pay what it takes" list. They are good for what they are, Wired Remote Control Cars along with the Academy/ Mitsuwa Chaparral 2G. So if one can't live without having a kit of these cars get'en Cheap, Really Cheap.
