Hi There Terry. Welcome to the world of Roadracers. If you're going to build that McLaren M8D and want it to be correct go to Indycals and get the Decal sheet for the M8D "Dan Gurney, Peter Gethin". That hoop on the Rollbar was for Dans added height over Bruce McLaren that sadly died while testing the M8D. Peter on the other hand was shorter than Dan yet they retained the hoop.

That came out very nice and your Engine detail is the equal of the Paint! I had a '63 LeMans with the same Basic engine in it.

The results look like the effort was worth it. Really good looking Paint And Decals. And the Engine compartment ain't shabby either.

Prior to moving out here from the South S.F. Bay area, my Wife and I had 2 Top Fast Food places, TOGO's and Kirk Burgers. Although if we traveled to SoCal and didn't stop in for an In n Out Burger I'd never hear the end of it.

Charlie, Thanks about the Photos, For your lock you might try TriFlow. It's a Spray Lube that also has Teflon in it. Or maybe you might have a Friend with (or you might have) Marvel Mystery Oil. An Eyedroper should deliver more than enough to do the job.

My Wife n I tried'em while on a Road Trip. Neither cared for 'em. I guess they're an aquired taste. Heck I travel 6 miles to get my Mail, now for "Fast Food" it's an 80 mile round trip. Quicker to fire up the Grill and Make some REAL Brugers
