  1. Let's see given the Tires wern't rated safe at much of Any Speed, the safety equipment was a (optional) Leather Skull Cap and the Brakes on todays Shifter Karts are vastly superior to what was on that Car, I'd have to say at any speed over 50mph or so That Puppy is Still a Monster!! Good to see you returning to Cars. The Street Cars were Neat, But Road Racers of any Vintage, YEA!
  2. Thanks Ray. A couple of minutes before everything indoors and out was awash in a Deep Orange and being in the West side of the House I almost missed the shot while enjoying the new color to the room! Thank You Nick.
  3. We had an Orange Dawn this Morning. Loads of texture in the Clouds to make thinks a bit more interesting.
  4. Other than adding head count there's little i can other that that's a really nice stand you've got fot it.
  5. Well done Curtis., all the way down to wiring all 8 spark Plugs.
  6. The combo of lighting and contrast gives an interesting Look/Tone "Feel" that for me adds to what looks like a well done Build!
  7. I just saw your presentation like a Diorama - With some REALLY Really Pretty Background.
  8. All I get from the link is an Ad for Gmail.............
  9. Wishing you the Best of Days Ray, Happy Birthday.
  10. Thank You Carl. For me that is the Highest Compliment one could give.
  11. I'm going to guess there's LOTS fewer Houses here than where you live!
  12. Lots of Rally nice Cars n Trucks there Bill. Gald you posted 'em. That Panel Truck brought on a twinge. I had a '60 back in '70 with a 283, ladder on the back and Roof Rack that was really a shallow "basket". Brought back good (and some bad) memories of a time now long gone.
  13. Jim n Ray, Thank's to You Both.
  14. There are times when Box Stock looks better than Custom and Mark that is several of them! Nice................
  15. That is one big "Paper Plane" isn't it! I wonder once done if a coat of Semi Gloss or Satin Clear over the main area and Gloss over the "glass" might enhance the look of the finished kit - Although just finishing it will result i an impressive Plane!
  16. Pete covered your Parts. I was going to ask if you might be able to take a Close Up of the 3D Webers but your "Q.A." covered my area of interest. Guess 3D's got a way to go to meet 1/24 scale needs. Time to send HRM a few bucks for a Catalog.
  17. Enjoyed another Dawn. This time with a light rain falling north of here onto the Willcox Playa. and the Dawn.
  18. Well Done Bill
  19. Kinda make you wishfor a BB Gun huh FWIW you're gonna want to get that off sooner than later or you'll have reminders of the encounter as long as you own the truck.
  20. Kevin if you have any questions you think I may be able to help with feel free to PM me. If I know the answer so will you
  21. There's no hurry to get a bigger Scope. Most of the things you're looking at have been there for quite a while and will be for some time to come. For your next Scope I'd suggest a used one for two reasons, 1. They're Loads cheaper generally. Heck check around your area and you may be suprised to find a "Gem" for a REALLY good price. 2. saying the Astronomy Bug wears off there's a good chance to recoop your money. No matter your choice I hope you have MANY Years of enjoyment. There's many lifetimes of things to see up there.
  22. That's a nice setup you've got there. Funny I looked up the Specs on the Light Chassis .308 and it's only ~1lb lighter than my Wood Springfield M1A National Match!
  23. That's "White Metal" if you please!! Yep
