  1. I was guessing with his Testor's Enamal statement he didn't have an Air Brush, but if he has one Jameston is The Man.
  2. Hello Eric, and Welcome to the Forum.
  3. Looks like some kinda wierd Table. Now if the Windshield and Roof were to lift up to reveal an Ice, Beer and Wine Bucket / Cooler, it might even be a useful Table - saying they flattened the Hood so the beverages wouldn't slide off.
  4. Gotta like the text in the Grey stripe across the bottom. Boy talk about a "By the Book" translation from Japanese to English.
  5. Hi David. I'd say go to Lowes and ask them if they have their Company's Blue in a Spray Can. Although that might sound like a flip reply, Home Depot uses (used?) Popsicle Orange (can't recall the brand), and generally there are several cases on hand for sale (and touching up damage to instore displays).
  6. Looks like it was modified for Hill Climbing, or Parking in todays Parking spaces...........
  7. Welcome Michael. Man you go back to when the Union Lumber Company was the largest employeer in Fort Bragg and there was only 1 Stop sign there. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
  8. Sure glad you showed the changes. WOW that's some nice workmanship.
  9. There's also the first 4 tools and if you go to pg 3, the last 3 that could be usefull in this application. http://eclyons.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=5&sort=20a&page=1
  10. Hi Bill. Try looking for a file with teeth the spacing you need. Then cut some styrene sheet the width you need plus a tad for final fit trimming, hold it down with 2 sided tape on a solid firm surface and just scrape the edge of the file firmly across the styrene.
  11. Heck AJ Foyt once won the Indy 500 once without changing Tires the ENTIRE Race. Now THAT was a Tire Strategy . Would those "Experts" say he didn't Win that Race?
  12. So what finally became of the Rattler?
  13. Hopefully this Chaparral will become a Phoenix and arise from the ashes!
  14. Well that made my "Pleased me list". Sure hope it's the shrink option!
  15. Bill my path was not all that direct. I started with 30's Alfa, 30's Italian and even 30's and 40's English before adding Streamline. Prior to this I was in the JAWA = Motorcycles only Camp. Back in '73 I owned a 1951 150cc Jawa CZ that looked like youe Uncles just a tad smaller and mine had Yamaha Forks to replace the stamped steel ones it came with that the prior owner had Customized by driving into a Tree.
  16. Good looking Car Urs, and the Art style Photography (although a bit dark) was really nice.
  17. This is what did it for me Ken, 1930's 2 seat streamline red coupe
  18. Greg, there were 2 Mini exotic Cheetah transkits on ebay this weekend. One Sold, n one didn't. Just keep an eye out.
  19. I don't know what it is, but it was Southbound on Hwy 80 in Tombstone, Az
  20. Street, the '63 (my first Car) and '64 (Parents first New Car) Pontiac Lemans, 60 Chevy Panel Truck (sadly had to sell when I joined the Army) anf '77 Pontiac Sunbird (my first new car). Race, Chaparrals 2-2K, yea even the H, Porsche 917 series sans the long tails and /20. Good for both (and the most fun you can have in a Car Alone) The Lotus/Caterham 7.
  21. Tom, Here's to the next 35. Happy Anniversary.
  22. He didn't let ya hot lap it 'round VIR, sheeeze what kind of Neighbor is he? Now from His Cars and Your Cobra I'm guessing Lawn Mowers and Leaf Blowers ain't the noise problem on the Weekends 'round there............
  23. Really Nice job Lloyd and as has been mentioned well photographed also. Did you use Stencils for the Stars?
  24. Nice lookin' Car Rex. Now, did the neighbor let you "Drive" the Ford or just let you do a once 'round the block trip!!??
  25. Another Good One Jim. I do like the Interior detailing. Hopefully the VA'll get ya into the Noodle Surgeon n get things strightened out.
