  1. The Holley in the kits are the NASCAR-type dominators, very nice carbs. As fas as intakes, you're really limited. I made one of the GL Rat Roasters into a cross ram and cut another up to make an Indy-style inline four barrel x 2. I'm in the process of making a Tunnel Ram. I haven't found any "regular" intakes so you are more than likely going to have to make your own, if you do find some or make some, lemmee know!
  2. Dang, that would have been a nice weekend ride. But, I have to go to Mississippi on Tursday for a two week military school. Maybe I can come to the next one...
  3. More of a wish list than anything.. Injector stacks in different heights. Air cleaners of different diameters with the mesh inserts like your 1/24-25th scale ones (Custom & Edelbrock) Velocity stacks for the Dukes/Street Charger Holley Dominator Carbs with and without air filters/tops. Conversion top to make a cross ram out of the Dukes single-carb NASCAR intake with linkage, Holley carbs (when they changed from Carters to I think 600 cfm Holleys), & short velocity stacks. Shoot, just make al your 1/24th-25th scale stuff in 1/16th )))))))))))))))))))
  4. Cool David, will do, thanks!
  5. What's the site? You'll have to excuse my ignorance, I haven't been around here long.
  6. Awesome, I wish I had the talent so many of you guys have here. Makes my cars look like kindergarten kids did 'em.
  7. Beautiful. I may have asked before, do you have or are you planning on doing any 1/16th stuff?
  8. You wanna get rid of that clear valve cover? I could definately use it and want it I didn't see it in my kit, gonna look here in a minute. Shoot, I could use the decals too for that matter. I can buy the stuff from you or swap something for them Lemmee know at your convenience. Michael
  9. Neat, Partridge Family bus for sure !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just stick a Hemi under the hood
  10. Wow! Nice work! You wanna build and sell me some long fuel tanks ? Ben, shoot me a pm, I think I have a flat top one, I gotta look though.
  11. Lets see if this worked... The Charger pics are #'s 2-4 I think...
  12. When I try to upload them on Advanced, the little spinner thing just keeps going and going. On Basic, nothing hapens. I uploaded a pic from Photobucket onto the Truck forum and it ended up as a link to all the photos I have on there so far which are not many. Problem is, I can't remember how I did it I'm gonna fiddle with it and see if I can get it to work again
  13. No sweat. Looking forward to seeing your build up.
  14. I'm working on two of them right now (and 4 DOH Chargers), an original kit and a re-issue. As a heads up there are a few issues: You'll have to fiddle with the mounting of the front wheels or they will tow in at the top like crazy (the DOH kits are the same way). If you mount the rear axle springs inboard of the frame rails and shave down the brake drums and the wheel backs some, it tucks the tires in some so they aren't so rediculous looking. The valence under the rear bumber is short on every single kit I have (6 of 'em between the Street Charger & Dukes kits) so I just made new ones. If you don't fiddle with the headers at the mounting flanges, they won't tuck in far enough and the Torsion Bars won't fit. As usual, I can't upload a photo of my WIP Please keep us updated on your progress though.
  15. I always loved those Dakota RT's. I had a 98 dakota and my wife had a 2003 Quad-Cab. The firing order for all Big Block Mopars is the 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 in that counter-clockwise rotation. Small & Big Block Chevies have the same firing order but the distributor turns clockwise. I was getting my 440 powered 69 Road Runner ready to fire, got everything done, ready to go. I turned the key and it just sputtered and coughed. After about 30 minutes of fooling around with timing, chasing wires & spark, etc. I discovered the problem... I was working in a race engine shop and had been doing mostly chevy motors. When I set up the plug wires on my 440, I used the correct firing order but I forgot that Mopars turned the other way! Switched 'em back around and presto, the motor roared.
  16. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 Counter-clockwise rotation. Looks nice!
  17. SEMPER FI back atcha. I tell everybody in my Unit I am infilrating the National Guard and improving it simply by virtue of my Marineness
  18. I'm the Goon in the center. This was one of a number of photos taken by a Squid ( a Navy Dude....I was in the Marine Corps so they will always be Squids to me .....) Combat Correspondant visiting the FARP (Forward Arming & Refueling Point) at FOB (Forward Operating Base) Diamondback outside Mosul, Iraq. If you lok close at my Cranial (Helmet thing), you'll see "Horns" I made out of .50 Caliber bullets. Moose Morrow, the guy on my right in the pic is holding a 2.75" Rocket, John Loftis is trying to look big with a belt of .50 cal ammo, and I'm holding up an M3P .50 cal Machine Gun.
  19. Lets see if this works... Here's the Quad Axle KW WIP.. http://
  20. Nice. I love those GNX's. You wouldn't happen to want to part with the kit's stock turbo, wheels & tires would you? I have a project I could definately use them for.
  21. Beautiful, I love those Hemi Darts.
  22. Awsome work! This was the first time I'd ever seen that paint scheme. Back then everybody cheated. Among other things, I've heard that Petty's cars had extra fuel lines plumbed in the roll bars to give him more mileage.
  23. Looking good! If you are wiring a Big Block Mopar engine for the first time (just in case you might not know) the firing order for the 383-440 Wedge engines and for the 426 Hemi is the same as Small & Big Block Chevy engines: 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2 but with an oposite rotation from the Chevys. I'm not trying to be critical ok but the exhaust ports on those cylinder heads are incorrect, as they are evenly spaced. The wedge heads have an exhaust configuration similar to the Small Block Chevy, the two middle tubes are close together. Hemis have a port configuration similar to the Big Block Chevy, evenly spaced. I know they will be pretty much covered up when you put on the manifolds but I figured I'd pipe up for accuracy sake. Looking forward to seeing more pics as you go along...
  24. I got the name Der Bonekrosha (pronounced in an Ahlnoldt Schvahtzeneggah accent) in the Marine Corps because I can do a pretty credible Arnold accent and I've been in martial Arts since I was young and I'd been practicing Aikido for a while. Every once in a while someone would ask me to show them a technique, they aren't comfortable At the time Steven Seagal had just gotten pretty popular and my pals didn't belive that stuff worked. So, I "convinced" a few. Anyway, one of my buddies called me the Bone Crusher and it evolved into Der Bonekrosha.
