  1. If you ever do any 1/16th stuff, I'm in !
  2. I was thinking of getting two of them at some point to make a stock one and a mean one with a blown big-block something for an engine. Fredo, if you hear something on these, shoot me a pm will you?
  3. Either of them would be great though the 77-89's are my favorite, I was just hoping there was a source for them. I had them on my 77 Monaco of course but I also put them on my 69 Road Runner (stealth look I was pretty certain there weren't any of them being produced but I was aiming even for plain old generic dog dishes for any 1/16th I can figure out. I will probably end up doing just as you said, making my own.
  4. My I miss my 69 Nova. It didn't have a big motor but it was a nice one. I keep seeing these cars and the fabulous builds you guys do. I've got to get one...
  5. I wanted to know if any body knows a source for Mopar Po-Leece dog dish hubcaps for 1/16th or faiing that, some plain caps I make modify. If so please lemmee know...
  6. I love those Monacos and Furys. I bought one of the 77 Monacos that was on the Simon & Simon show years ago when I lived in LA, Ex-CHP car, 440, fun, fun. I've built a ton of these cars and though it's been a while since I did my last one, a replica of my Dad's 77 unmarked 440 Fury when he was an LT at the Collier County Sheriffs Office in FL. I use the chassis from the AMT Road Runner/GTX kits. The Monaco interior tub will still fit and as I recall you only have to move the front unibody a hair back to make the wheelbases match exactly. A Trooper lived down the street from my Gandparents and I remember his Monaco as well. Funny seeing the old bubble-gum lights. I've built replicas of my Patrol Cars too, a 1994 and a 2001 Crown Vic from when I was with the Indian River County Sheriffs Office in FL.
  7. I got a DoH Charger and a Street Charger (both 1/16th) under that 40% off coupon, love Hobby Lobby...
  8. Cool, thanks. I e-mailed them today, I'm gonna order one of their sample packages next payday..
  9. I was of course kidding in "demanding" to be answered, I was just joking around. I'm looking for material to build my own F.I. intake for a turboX2 440 I am doing. The one I built isn't quite right...
  10. What is Renshape, how much is it, where can you get it, and finally is it something that comes in "blocks" that you can carve up or is it some mix-together epoxy-like stuff that you have to make in a mold or something? ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS !! )))))))))
  11. Cool, keep me informed if you don't mind....
  12. Some time ago I got some Hazzard County Sheriff's Dept decals (in 1/18th scale) from a place that apparently is no longer in business. I wish someone made 'em in 1/16th but noo dice. Anyway, I've searched high and low for another set of the 1/18th scale ones to make do on my Rosco P. Coltrane (sp?) Po-Leece car I am planning to build out of a Street Charger kit (going to have a fuel injected twin turbo'ed 440) to go along with the bunch of General Lee variants I'm working on. Does ANYBODY know where I can find a set? Thanks in advance, Michael
  13. I have two of these in a stalled status right now while I am doing my Dukes cars. Well, a Big T and a Big Tub anyway. Beautiful model you've built!
  14. You know, I think that my Generals (I have several versions in the works) are looking half way decent, then I see this kind of work and I get brought back down to earth. Amazing build. My only dig would be the distributor and plug wire as previously mentioned. I wish I had your talent and abiity my friend. Outstanding work. I can't wait to see the finished car. Thank you for the detailed pics, I have some ideas in mind for mine now
  15. Beautiful! Now put that plug wire back in
  16. Weld Wheels or Pro-Stars would look good. I however am partial to body colored steel wheels and dog-dish hubcaps, they just look tough to me. I had 'em on my Road Runner
  17. Cool thanks...pm sent Why don't you just make some studs for the blower, manifold, headers, valve covers, and heads so you can slide 'em on and off? Kinda like a quickie tear down for a blown head gasket
  18. Those are the same tires that are in the Street Charger re-issue by the way... Sand off the lettering and stencil on some Hoosiers lettering
  19. If you want to get rid of any left over parts lemmee know. I still want some clear valve covers ! Gonna do some work on the "Daytona" this evening. The Grey General Lee is finished except for putting on the push bar, gonna do that tonight too. I will try again to load some pics. Be sure you guys post pics, I wanna see those cars
  20. I miss my 77 Big Block ex-CHP Monaco. Lotta fun and one of my favorite cars actually...
  21. I've got the nose pretty much grafted on, I will try and get some pics to load...
  22. YES YOU DO! Shame on you I'm plugging along on mine, got MY version of the General Lee just about done, been working a ton on the "Daytona" conversion (it isn't going to be a perfect Daytona, I've changed some stuff but I'm building it for me). I wish I could get pics to load
  23. I did the same thing with mine, painted half and left the other half clear. Yours look a lot better than mine though. Everybody else, this really is an awesome kit. Even if you aren't into Mopars it is an amazing build. It could even be a really good instructional tool on how an engine works.
  24. Oh yeah, I wasn't trying to usrp your thread griping about my engine and I wasn't neccessarily bashing Flashpoint, I'm sure I just got a blem. I got the engine from Ted @ Tedsmodelingmarketplace.com and he's replacing the engine for me. Awesome dude and awesome customer service. I just was looking at your engine and how different mine was. I'm sure you did a bit of cleanup to get it looking so good, mine would just have required more surgery than it was worth. I really look forward to seeing more of your work, it's simply amazing and even though I do not have an nth of the ability and talent you have, your work is very inspiring to say the least.
  25. I started fooling with my Flashpoint 572. Rough! I've gott to redo the heads, they are waaaay off, one side far higher than the other. The intake deck is off too, the bellhousing area really off. Maybe I just got a Monday casting. It won't look as good as yours but I'll manage. I sure do love seeing the work you guys do, I am such a novice in comparison.
