  1. Do I get points for guessing the color?
  2. "Did somebody say partaaay?"
  3. Steal from me once, shame on you; steal from me twice...nope.
  4. OMG!!!! OMG!!!! I DIDN'T GET ONE THE FIRST DAY!!!! MUST PANIC AND PAY AT LEAST DOUBLE ASAP!!! OMG!!! OMG!!!
  5. Especially when you can buy what looks like a decent resin repop for $50. https://www.modelroundup.com/1962-Ford-Galaxy-2-Door-Sedan-p/jim-nb341.htm EDIT: Of course the resin repop doesn't include all the "Styline" parts in the original kit, or the motorcycle engine, but if you want to build a box-stock or custom '62 Ford, you have a place to start.
  6. Sentence "journalists" who intentionally lie, or who just don't bother to check the accuracy of what they repeat before saying or writing it, to a one way trip through the shredder.
  7. Of course, one problem with shooting drones is if they're camera-equipped and their streaming imagery is being recorded remotely, it wouldn't take long for law enforcement to find the shooter. Theoretically...
  8. Fast women used to be slower apparently, 'cause I can't catch 'em anymore.
  9. Ranchero eggs (huevos rancheros) are one of my favorite breakfasts.
  10. Yup, semi-useless un-shrouded little bee fart fans just like that.
  11. https://uavcoach.com/shoot-drone/
  12. Actually, shooting aircraft is a federal crime, may be a felony, unmanned drones or anything else. https://uavcoach.com/shoot-drone/
  13. Cars that are half trucks are kinda useful.
  14. Near as I can tell, the '62 hasn't been repopped any time recently, but Mark will know.
  15. Same thing's happened here, and is beginning to take over the place I'm in out in AZ. The county I'm in here in GA was mostly farms when I arrived. 5 minutes, you were out of town and into sparsely traveled but well maintained rural roads, real sports car country. Now it takes two hours to get out of the urban sprawl, and driving anything interesting is just begging to have some texting moron or uninsured newcomer destroy it...as has happened to several folks I know. Too many stupid people ruin everything.
  16. Montana is the location of Ted Turner's ranch.
  17. I think it's aliens disguised as drones. EDIT: And the gubmint knows and is complicit, making everyone think they're really gubmint craft, as everyone in gubmint is lizard creatures anyway, like Mr. Faceborg. Cue X-Files music.
  18. My old 4 MP Nikon doesn't. I'm an old film photographer, and I made part of my living as one for a while, including developing and printing my own work. Color films were selected depending on the light source temperature, as in "daylight" and "incandescent". My little old obsolete Nikon behaves the same way as an old film camera, loaded with "daylight" film. Soft white renders distinctly yellow. I've posted many photos in the past where the color balance was way too yellow-warm, before I adjusted my light source to compensate. There are many ways to get good results for web photos.
  19. Boothe Lake in Yosemite Nat. Park is worth a visit if you like the outdoors.
  20. Nice clean build, and nice collection of diggers too. Is the Attempt an early issue? I seem to remember those narrow tread front tires were replaced by wider Pirellis in later issues.
  21. I agree, and if I wasn't still working, I'd be a little ball of uselessness living on pain meds. It's really not all that bad, as I can still do most of what I've always done. It just takes longer every morning to get functional...and a handful of ibuprofen.
  22. Yes indeed, beautiful model. One of those would sure make a nice daily driver.
  23. Man, that is nice. In other news, I mailed out the last of my Christmas presents, so they're all in the hands of the fine folks at USPS. Everything went priority, so there should be plenty of time...
  24. Mounts for the engine on the '66 Chevelle I'm finishing up were welded in about 1.5" too high AND too far forward, because the highly-paid chimp who built the custom frame didn't actually measure anything, made the front frame rails too close together, so had to wonkify the engine placement to make room for headers.
  25. Largely the story of my life last few years, as is chronic pain lately. Wait...I thought I was retired.
