I'm loving this. One thought... If Chrysler were to have built a Turbine wagon way back then, wouldn't they have reshaped the rear panels, flattening the "Astro" flair, to be more inline with their then current production models? Such as what was done on the '63 and later Darts and Valiants, thus allowing the, then popular, dual tailgate design to work? The wagon's rear treatment was decidedly different from the hardtops, sedans and convertibles.

Ceser, Don't you do anything simple? Having said that... don't stop what your doing. Your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. I'll be watching this build.

Just got an update from RC2 last week on the TOS Enterprise. Still on schedule. The flyer sent me hints at a new shuttle Galileo too, but only hints... it is not stated. -

1972 Stp Petty Charger 1/16th Scale Kit (very Rare)
darquewanderer replied to David Thibodeau's topic in WIP: Model Cars
It's been three years since this thread has been in the spotlight... well with the soon to be reissued 1/16 Dodge Charger, I thought it deserved being brought back to the fore front so we can once again admire and drool over Dave's outstanding work. I only wish this thread were a little more detailed. But having said that, it's still an impressive piece of work. Well done Dave! -

Original. Very well done. -
The Boonie Bug can be built up from instructions available in the March '74 Popular Mechanics. If you ever saw Schwarzenegger's "Total Recall" it's there. I thing the Johnny Cab was one. Several others appeared through out the film along with other PM and MI homebuilts. A little contemporary styling upgrades and this one would fit right in with the minivans of today.

Brother's psycho ex-girl friend (not kidding, she really is psycho) first brought Moonie home, claims someone left him in car. Six months later, she brought Inky home, same excuse. We think she cat-napped them. Anyway here they are. Moonie, he's 13. Inky, his partner in chrime. She's 12 1/2. And that's the only houseplant she hasn't killed. Black thumb... err paw. -
