Revell K100 Additional Pics
signguy2108 replied to chuckyr's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
great looking truck! -
Found this site while looking at 1to1 pics. eddylender.nl Site is in German, but gives pics of what looks like every truck & trailer kit ever made, with production dates. Kind of depressing when I realize how many of them I've had over the years!

Does it come with a maid & a butler? Nice job, don't ever sell yourself short! That take a lot of talent. What part of Arkansas? -

W900 Snap rebuild
signguy2108 replied to ARTEMIS1759's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Clear gorilla super glue and the spray activator works good. Pull 'em back where you want them and glue it. Had to do it on some old kits of mine. -

signguy2108 replied to lonebear43's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Maybe I'm behind, but I've never understood why the resin industry hasn't jumped on the ch series mack. Truck of choice for logging & constrution around south arkansas. Is there one out there anywhere? -

Thanks, I'm blushing! Waiting for the return. reference pictures in hand. At least build something I can see to work on. Tried to find color pics of this truck, but I guess they're gone. It had a lot of detailing for the time, doesn't compare with what you guys are building now. -

Nice trucks! Welcome aboard. A word of warning. Looking at the trucks on these pages becomes addictive real quick! Unbelievable builds, a lot of talented & very nice people. -
freuhauf trailer project
signguy2108 replied to signguy2108's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Can't tell it, but it is missing the mud flap too. Thats what happens when you sling a cap off the tire. Been there, done that! Decals are vinyl lettering made in sign program on computer. Quick build, I can already find things I should have done different. Never satified, I guess! Thanks for the comments, makes it worthwhile. Goodnite. -

Need to trim em a bit. When hooded to a van trailer, they are only about 1/4 " to tall. Diameter of them makes em look tall. I've goy a buddy that just installed 8's on his 1 to1 Pete. They look the same way. -
Here's a few more pics. Still in the building stages. Revell snap kit, Italeria frame & wheels from some kit. 8" stacks are copper tubing covered w/ chrome vinyl from my sign shop. The end from a cheap bic pen provided the 8" to 5" reducers. Still have to paint the mud flaps and build headache rack (lumber hauler) & other details.

A few old builds
signguy2108 replied to signguy2108's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Thanks for the kind words. The rollback bed was an old (90's) resin kit. Not sure who made it. Came w/ the tool boxes, I added the rails. The crew-cab duallie was built from two kits. It is met. green, Scale Auto yearbook 1997. These were old builds, just getting back in the hobby, mostly big rigs. Not sure I can compete with what you guy are building now! Thanks again. -

Firebird - Super Sedan SS/A... (update 3/6/12)
signguy2108 replied to Kanedge's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Gonna be a good project. The firebirds are just way cool race cars even as low as stock elem. I have a couple sign cutomers that run em in super pro. Be watching to see it finished. -

Nice build. I would have liked it better without the flames. Other stripes are factory, I had white one with 3-tone blue stripes like these,400 cat 15 speed. oooh boy!
