  1. Thanks for the info Dan. I'm familiar with Don Holthaus's work but his 1970 is based on the MPC kit (1/25th) and i'm doing all three in (1/24th) Revell. Fortunately the original MPC 1970 bumper I have fits the Revell nicely except for some slight fender mods. I am doing the FAST FIVE car, not the F&F car. F&F was gloss black and i'm doing all flats.
  2. Oh i'll get to the Drive car eventually. I just wanted to do a triple threat kinda build. Thanks again for the links.
  3. I just tried to look at a post under NASCAR about a Marty Robbins car and poof! It just flat dissapeared! Did I screw up and somehow delete it? If I did i'm very sorry.
  4. I should clarify something as well. I don't have a 1970 kit. I have a couple 1969's and a 1970 front bumper so, any help on how to convert a 1969 to 1970 would be helpfull too.
  5. Okay, the Drive Angy car is out and Death Proof is in. Any help on engine and interior details would be great. Thanks to anyone taking the time to post. Shane, I don't know much but the Fast Five car is definitely a 1970. Just look at the front bumper and taillights. Sorry Jeff, I should have chosen a different picture.
  6. Here's another question about the Drive Angry car. (awesome movie by the way) I notice the vector wheels on the car...did they steal an old General Lee for this?
  7. Now this is a cool thread. I say model.
  8. I totally forgot about Blade! I was thinking Death Proof but I wasn't sure what year that was because I haven't seen it.
  9. Ay-Chiwawa! Now that's my kinda car! Is that the Revell or the MPC kit?
  10. Hi, me again. I was sitting looking through my stash while watching the movie Fast Five, and inspiration hit me like a sledge hammer. I have kits of 1968, 1969 and 1970 Dodge Chargers. I want to make the 1970 the Charger (Dominic's) from Fast Five, and the 1969 Charger from the movie Drive Angry. I thought I might do a tri-fecta of sorts and do a 1968 movie Charger too. The 1969 and 1970 are both flat black chargers if i'm seeing them right so what I want to know is this. Is there a flat black 1968 Charger from any movie I could do as the third car? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Very nice. Marty was another "gone too soon". Is that the 1/16th Petty Charger?
  12. Thank you gentlemen. I'll try and be an upstanding member. One question though. What are "warning points?"
  13. I have a friend that built one as a regular ambulance. There was a little filling and filing involved but it came out pretty nice. I'll see if he can email me a picture to post.
  14. Hello all. I've been lurking as a visitor for a little while now. I can't build anywhere near the level alot of you do but i'm hoping my time here will fix that. I have been building for a few years now and i'm into muscle cars (especially MOPARS), movie and television vehicles and american series race cars of all types. I like vintage nascar but have recently gotten into open wheel like Indy and cart. I like some pickups and semi's but i'm not into boats or planes. I've seen alot of tips and helpfull suggestions here and i'll most likely ask alot of questions so please be patient with me.
