  1. No Jo-Ann fabrics that i've EVER been in has had model kits.
  2. All nice Monties. Should have put them all in the same thread though.
  3. 5,000?!?! Holey Moley! I've seen a few of those posts (before and after signing up) and based on the content of the bulk of them if you don't get a watch you've at least earned an internship at the magazine! Congratulations on being a major contributor here, I aspire to that level. (I'll most likely never make it... but I aspire nonetheless)
  4. I lived in the Bunnel area of Florida for ten years, and believe me he's not kidding! Please all, be carefull and safe, Jacksonville floods badly in several areas!
  5. I like it. Alot! I've always said there are very few cars that look good in orange. As it turns out...this is one of them. Well done.
  6. WELL! Now ah knows where granpappy's still went! It done rolled off! Great and unique build.
  7. VERY stylish redo of a Monkeemobile. I love this one!
  8. I was going to say ebay too. Congrats on a deal Drew.
  9. A+plus on that model A model! Now Mike, if we can just get you to turn out one that good!
  10. This is just so great. Even if she wasn't doing so well (which she is) it's a wonderfull thing when a parent fosters thier child's creativity. I see though that father and daughter prefer different shades of nail polish!
  11. I'm not up on all the abbreviations. If you don't mind my asking, what is an R&R Sniper?
  12. If model kits are not made of styrene, then #1-Why do all the instruction sheets say "use cement and paint made for styrene" and #2 What ARE they made of?
  13. Model kits ARE NOT made of styrene??? Since when?
  14. I have to agree with Harry. Don't watch the clock, watch what's in front of you. Or as Chevy Chase would say "be the ball".
  15. I think it would be possible to do, it just wouldn't be able to be self contained. Myself, I would make the airbags out of silicone or thick balloons. Just not sure how I would do the hose or valve system. HHmmmmmm???
  16. I used to. Then I got a three gallon compressor and haven't looked back. It's a little noisy as well, but I live alone so who cares right?
  17. I just keep telling myself, if I buy another pack of cigarettes...I DESERVE IT!
  18. Kudos to all of you who have been able to quit. THANK YOU for all the supportive comments. To those of you still struggling, if I can do it YOU can too! I have a VERY addictive personality. Ask your doctor about the Wellbutrin program.
  19. AND THAT my friends, is exactly the statement that put me over the edge. My mom said that to me last month and I thought 'what am I doing to myself? Never mind lacquerlung and putty dust, i'm buying these things with the express purpose of filling my lungs!' I'm already breathing better.
  20. I don't usually go "off topic", but i'm very proud of myself right now. I used to build a little, stop and take a few puffs, put the cigarette out and model a little more until the next craving. I am VERY proud to say, As of today I have been smoke free for twenty days! :) There's only one real drawback. It's amazing to me the amount of different smells the smoke was covering up! Well, with a fresh batch of airwicks and stolid resolve I have ended my thirty years as a smoker and have no intention of going back.
  21. I'm actually considering one. The price isn't that bad...but I would rather get one used. They're cheaper and already broken in.
  22. If Donn Yost says so...take THAT to the bank! There are alot of variables when airbrushing paint, like thickness of the paint, type of air supply, even the type of hose is a factor. Do yourself a favor and check out Donn's site. I used to have a link but don't worry...someone will be along with one in a minute.
  23. You tend not to notice things like that when you spend too much time in a hemp field...man...
