  1. I would too. Or for my sisters or just a lady friend.
  2. I'm actually having the same problems as Jacen. Sometimes I have to try three times to get a single sentence to post. Posts with smiley's are worse!
  3. Hopefully some of this will help. Could not find a fender shot to save my life but I did find a QP. PM me where to send the interior and chassis from that Monte kit.
  4. Mike I see you're in Akron Ohio. Is Spazstix near there or did you pay for overnight? That's just wicked fast shipping!
  5. I was reading around the board about this kit and somewhere it was suggested that a Lee Petty version might be in the works. Did that fall through or is it an upcoming version?
  6. Thank you Nick and Johnathan. The links and pictures are very helpfull. I'm going to try it.
  7. If any of you have used it could I get a review and maybe some pictures? I want to know if it's as difficult or easier than Alclad chrome. How does it compare price wise?
  8. I just listed a big group of decals in the trade section and it occured to me that while looking through my decals some of them had yellowed with age. Is there a way to 'fix' yellowed decals so when the white ones are applied or applied on white there's no yellowing?
  9. Isn't the slope-nose the 1975/1976 Laguna S3?
  10. NOW I SEE! There's several small differences between the lights, bumpers and grilles. Thanks for posting those Casey. I guess I would vote for the 1973 as well in this case.
  11. I'll take two of everything! Some of them three!
  12. The front and rear bumpers are definitely different, although i'm not seeing a difference in the front turn signal lights. The 74 grille is definitely higher and more squared off, while the front clip on the 73 model seems to have a slight cant and softer edges. Doesn't look like that easy of a fix to me, but then i'm not real skilled at conversions.
  13. Pardon me, but those wheels look nothing like what's on the car.
  14. Steve, I sent you a PM. I think I have the dash.
  15. That's beautifull work! Here's a thought...just spit-balling here. If these cars are like Camaro/Firebirds and the only real difference is the nose and tail, why not do the 1973, then modify the casting into a 1974 to fill that gap?
  16. Love it! Especially the color.
  17. I like them mostly because of Cartoons magazine. Like most have said here, they're fun and don't require alot of thought or skill but can still be an enjoyable end product. I also like the Tom Daniels kits. I love a little fantasy with my reality. Vice-versa I enjoy taking something like Tom Daniel's Vandal and making it a more realistic vehicle. The hobby is for fun. I think the Joker said it best in "Dark Knight". "Why so serious?"
  18. I don't know the differences between the 1973 and 1974 so I would say whichever modifies easier into the other. I agree with futurabat. Full trim and an opened hood is best for me. I've tried putting trim like side chrome on and it's never straight. Those are the cars that get banished to the back of the room.
  19. I always liked that car. The driver rebellion at Talladega was over safety issues with the pavement if I remember correctly. The track was coming up in chunks and the driver's felt it was unsafe.
  20. It was eventually released as the Cannonball Run Hawaiian car but was #1. The issue Ihave is molded in blue and comes in a Pepsi box.
  21. This is the kind of eye candy I prefer. Bumper to bumper, rockers to roof, just simply a work of art in 3D!
  22. Honestly no. I haven't really had a chance to try and match anything up. I'll try to get to it in the next couple days though. There are a few instruction sheets and decals with this mess too.
  23. As requested, here are the bodies. Most of them are obvious, but a couple elude me.
