Snake45 Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Ron, does the conversion look like a copy of the old AMT or Revell parts, or does it seem to be original?
Ron Hamilton Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Ron, does the conversion look like a copy of the old AMT or Revell parts, or does it seem to be original? It looks to me like the Revell Part, just corrected.
mk11 Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Thanks for taking the time to show us the parts, Ron. I was hoping mine would show up this week too. That CJ sure is a nice unit to base a build on; maybe some caster could look at supplying those hubcaps as they are identical to the ones needed for a certain F100 soon to be showing up at our favorite retailers mike
Maindrian Pace Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Modelhaus has them, order a few sets before you-know-what. http://www.modelhaus.com/index.php?c=4106&p=65589 -MJS

Nova-ss Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Interesting parts.so is the resin parts worth the money to improve the look of the Revell parts.
sfhess Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Interesting parts.so is the resin parts worth the money to improve the look of the Revell parts.YES, because the kit front end is horrible.
sfhess Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 How on earth do you "add to cart" on they`re site?Click on HOME for the explanation. Even though it's a couple of days past. He has revised the return date a couple of times already.
sfhess Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I checked today and the parts are "In stock". So I ordered a couple.
Ron Hamilton Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Here is the one I installed on the body. I believe that this correction kit is the ticket to make this kit work for me. I also re-contoured the side quarter windows. This is the look I am after. I have a set of steelies and doggies for the project. This one is next in line, as I have a couple to finish up..
john sharisky Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Top Tip: If you place an order through the DM Modelworks website and use a Post Office Box (and it's your confirmed PayPal address) do not check the "Use PO Box" checkbox. You'll receive a an error page originating from santu.com I took a quick look at the Santu website as I had not heard of this service. Nice website. However the copyright date shows "2012" John
Force Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 As I need a couple of these conversion kits I have tried to order this kit for a couple of months now but to no avail, when I first looked it was out of stock, then the caster took a vacaiton for some weeks and since they came back these kits are still out of stock...irritating.

Curt Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 As I need a couple of these conversion kits I have tried to order this kit for a couple of months now but to no avail, when I first looked it was out of stock, then the caster took a vacaiton for some weeks and since they came back these kits are still out of stock...irritating. He had some in stock after the vacation and I ordered one. With all the attention this has gotten here there is apparently a big demand so if you want one of these kits you need to check often as they do sell out quickly.
Sport Suburban Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I ordered two when he got back from vacation. I have them now and they are nice.
sfhess Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 According to the tracking provided, mine left St Petersburg this morning.......
sfhess Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 My parts arrived Friday, May 29. Very nice quality. Now I need to dig out my Revell 69 Mach 1 kits.......
Rob Hall Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I ordered two sets over the weekend, got the shipping notice today..never ordered anything from Russia..strange to see a resin caster in Russia doing parts for such an American car..
