I haven't built a truck in a long time, and can't believe I picked this one to start. I shelved it a number of times, but finally stuck it out long enough to call it finished.

Yes, the doors do open, but I think I'll keep them in the closed position for now!

Wow. Where to start? The parts aren't numbered. Many times there isn't a positive location tab. They don't fit well. The instructions aren't clear. The mirrors are hard to assemble. The doors need to be massaged to even line up.

How's that for starters? The good news is that you can really learn about your skills with this kit, and it is a really cool old school subject! Take your time and don't be afraid to start over if you think some parts aren't lining up.

You did a fine job on this one. Like you I have one I have put away a couple of times , for the reasons that you mentioned.
