catpack68 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Here is another one I finished about 2yrs.I started a WIP thread on this one awhile back, but I could not find it.I used the Revell 69 Yenko kit.The standard SS hood is from the old 69 MPC Camaro kit.The paint is Testors fathom green lacquer and the clear is Testors wet look .The stripes and emblems came from the Revell 69 Camaro SS convertible kit decal sheet. The wheels and tires are the Revell 69 COPO Nova kit.The tire decals are from my decal stash. The engine was wired and detailed.i painted the heads krylon aluminum as i wanted to do RPO L-89 optioned aluminum headed Camaro.i made a alternator bracket. The interior has Model Car Garage photoetched buckles, masking tape seat belts and i used embossing powder for the carpet.thanks for looking.

Stray Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 that is a sweet looking clean stock build up dude. Looks like something that rolled off the factory floor. Awesome finish. I dig the use of flock as under bonnet deadener also, very schmick. Kudos
Petetrucker07 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Very nice build. Great detail. I'm gonna steal the embossing powder carpet idea. The wife has a bunch of that stuff. Well done.

Snake45 Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Very nice indeed! I'm amazed at how well the MPC hood fits the Revell body. I've never tried it, just assumed it wouldn't work. Very cool!
catpack68 Posted March 24, 2015 Author Posted March 24, 2015 (edited) i had to modify the hood a bit to fit. Edited March 24, 2015 by racer X
