Scale-Master Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Original issue Revell kit from 1976. Been meaning to build it someday, and that day was about two weeks ago when I found the decals I had filed away needed to replace the water damaged originals. Tamiya TS-16 Yellow for the body color. Built straight out-of-the-box. The only real change was to make decals for the tire side wall lettering. slusher Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Great model sir, beautiful paint and decals. You do excellent work and i enjoy watching you do it...
Custom Hearse Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 That is awesome Mark! You've done an excellent job on it. I have been wanting to build that kit again (I built it once when it first came out), but the prices are retarded... Love seeing your work.
wayne swayze Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Cool vibe to this. I really like the bumpers...so many possibilities there.
Scale-Master Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 Thanks guys!I was surprised at what these kits are going for now.Maybe a good thing I didn't check until after I started it? Nah, they are meant to be built...But $100.00 and up is more than I'd pay for one, even with good decals. And the decals are what make it.
BirdWatcher Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Looks great! I'd love to snag one of these now. Nice job on the decals.
Daddyfink Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Fantastic job on a classic kit! I need to build one sometime soon
Helix Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Very impressive build, it had a pretty nice interior as well Funny, I found the same kit in a garage sale a couple of years ago and I recently sold it to a guy who considered this kit his 'holy grail'
gray07 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Beautifull, van, you did a great job on this van, ive got over 100 unbuilt van models, someday I will build them.
