Photobucket problem

Can anyone give some advice on why I cannot post pictures from Photobucket any more? The copy and paste method worked fine with my old computer running Windows XP. Now I have a new laptop running Windows 8.1 and the latest Internet Explorer, and I got nothin'.

When I click on the IMG code in Photobucket, it shows "Copied". When I try to paste it onto MCM, nothing happens. I tried using the Link button in the MCM reply box. The link box opened and I could paste the code from Photobucket into it, but when I clicked the OK button it basically froze. Help!

Try using the direct code. i have to use the direct code and i am using 8.0..

Thanks for trying, Carl. I tried the Direct code and the HTML code. For whatever reason, nothing will paste into the MCM box. I also tried "Control-V" to paste, no joy.

Dump IE and go to Firefox or Chrome. IE has always had problems here.

I think I will do that, Mike. IE acts weird in some other ways on here as well. MULTIPLE EXPLETIVES DELETED, involving Bill Gates, his parentage, Microsoft, and a place where the sun don't shine. I cannot my thumbnail size images in Photobucket open up to full size so I can use the image url code. I am running Chrome 42.

Its a problem in internet explorer. Google chrome takes the past just fine. It's actually not a Photobucket issue but an IE issue.

I see in your PB album you have the Direct, HTML, and IMG links visible, but not the thumbnail IMG link. If you go to your PB profile/account page, and click the checkbox which will display the thumbnail IMG, too, that would make things much easier.

Thank you, Casey! There is a tiny, tiny little "gear" on the far right of the page. Not labelled. That once clicked on reveals settings. That is why I want to kick the nether regions of a computer geek... they couldn't make that more prominent? They spread out that stuff all over the place. Grrrr....

Might have to change your compatibility setting as well, I had some issues posting pics from photobucket, clicked the comparability 'button' and all was good again. I too use IE and windows 8
